Also your local NCT might have a coffee/tea and play morning at someones house, usually its free and you turn up with a preschool child. Talking to people about their kids is usually a good icebreaker.0

Ah mate ((((big hugs)))) coming at ya!
I know the feeling well, housewise the same, but more often than not i am so tired as well as just about holding down a p/t job with 2 kids.
One step at a time, at your own pace & i would second netmums. No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -
Thanks all.
I am feeling a bit brighter now.
I think trying to get the house sold made me retreat further into myself and become more isolated, and as soon as the decision was made to take it off the market, I suddenly realised I had nothing else to do apart from the humdrum of life.
I have also had a virus the last two weeks, as have my children, so sleep has been reduced.
DH very sweetly suggested I take myself off for the weekend to recover, although no free weekends for a month, but that was very nice. I think I will find a free day and take myself off to a spa instead.
I have a list as long as my arm today, but all my lists involve isolation. I must add to my to do lists an activity a day that involves people.
Thanks again all

It is comforting to know that a lot of people share the same emotions/stresses/sadness that I can have at times. But when I see that it is so common, it makes me wonder if this is just a part of life. We will have those days, weeks, moments in our lives when we feel so alone. But do you have moments that are fun, exciting, relaxing, easy intermixed? If you don't I think that you should definitely find something to get excited about in your life! I know that I am very blessed to have what I do, despite the misfortunes that have come my way. Focus on the good that has been given to you. Look for what you find makes you the happiest! Take up a class that is just about you. Have something to look forward to in your life! Don't waste your time feeling sad for everything that you have been given - embrace it!0
