Hi
Before you act and run, please notice the may have in the above thread title sentence.
So this is the story......
This morning I recieved a letter from Pinecone Research, It didn't seem to be completely sealed, (looked as if it had been opened neatly and the stickiness allowed it to be closed again not fully though I may add) Inside was a letter informing me of what survey I had completed and a £3 luncheon voucher and to my horror also another letter was inside the envelope with a completely different address to another panel member. Not saying I would, but but I sure wouldn't like my address details to be handed over to some third party without my knowledge?!
I'm really confused over who to contact - Pinecone research, or royal mail or I'm not even sure and am babbling!
Thankies for any help mse;ers

What would it have to do with Royal Mail?
I'd let pinecone know and forward the letter onto the correct person. Would cost you the price of a stamp but that would be the decent thing to do.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

I don't actually know seems to be a moment of madness. I still can't seem to figure out why the letter seemed to have been opened in the first place. Having a second look now, Pinecone send the survey code in a letter and give the voucher alongside, the person who's letter I have has completed a survey but their is no voucher for them?! :rotfl:My voucher was stapled to the letter :cool:0 -
Sounds like your envelope got stuck in the the letter-into-envelope stuffing machine and someone else's letter got in there too.0

Thanks for the response. This may be the case, but to me still doesn't explain why I recieved the letter half open :T0 -
This seems very strange as Pinecone issue booklets of vouchers. Mine have never been stapled to the accompanying letter, just enclosed in the envelope.0

Never really thought about it at the time, just assumed they had now decided to do this:T0 -

You may be right about the above, but I'd hate for my details to be distributed amongst randomners? Paranoia settling in.........Hmmm0 -

Feel like I'm repeating this over and over. I'm not just being ignorant, I just wonder if their is a logical explanation for the envelope being OPEN? I'm not trying to be rude, as I like to think I'm nice constantly,

the machine was putting letters in envelopes
most likely it got jammed,2 letters went into one envelope but the 2nd envelope stuck to the 1st
at some point the 2nd envelope got seperated and someone stuck down the now open flap
happens all the time0
