Thanks for the suggestion but the area of London that I live in really isn't teh sort of place where you can drop in on your neighbours.
My friends don't have enough money themselves to be paying someone to do things they can themselves and in my job I think that the cost to my proffessional reputation would be greater than any money gained by offering to do things for colleagues.
Thanks though, it is much appreciated!Won: Subscription to four four two magazine! A sachet of waterproofing agent for leather (not so excited about that one); BOGOF Greggs coffee, £20 redfoot shoe voucher,

Look on your local freecycle and recycling groups for stuff you can pick up for free, then sell it on at a profit.
Freecycle (or Freegle as it now seems to be called) is for passing on unwanted items to others who can make use of them, rather than sell on at a profit. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

Is selling things so you can pay your rent without resorting to legalised loan sharks not making use of them?Won: Subscription to four four two magazine! A sachet of waterproofing agent for leather (not so excited about that one); BOGOF Greggs coffee, £20 redfoot shoe voucher,

How does the police auctions work? Can somebody please give some help on how to get information on this. I have done a search for it, but it seams that websites want you to register with them before giving specific info.0
