I'm not rushing anywhere - both mags i've bought whilst doing a shop already planned anyway - i'm only interested in the mascara and moisture surge - if i see a mag in passing tomorrow with either on I will purchase.

  • Is the mascara good? and is it the same as the one given during the boots/debenhams old mascara swap?

I was in my local Sainsburys and one lady had at least 10 copies of the Glamour magazine....from what I could see she had the ones containing Moisture surge/ DDML.

I was very good and just bought the one copy.:D

Someone asked this question earlier & I've been patiently waiting for an answer - to no avail, so when I saw the mascara in the local garage couldn't resist (already got the lipstick) & GOOD NEWS it has a brush & not one of those awful little combs. Not tried it yet but will report back.
(I've been searching for the perfect mascara for 30 years  )

yes it is! I got the mini mascara from the boots swap and it's the same one so don't buy the magazine and spend £2 on it! They do the mascara swaps pretty often.

I got the eye cream which I wanted to try anyway, the lipstick (which is a really good shade for me surprisingly!) and the makeup remover which I'm contemplating buying the full size of because I'm really happy with it. Happy days :D

I haven't tried the clinique mascara as I have recently found my perfect mascara - it is the new one in the green tube that Boots No7 have brought out. It is a lovely brush that coats the lashes perfectly and I will be hard pushed to find better - Boots also let you test their products first so it may be worth trying this.

Any giveaway which allows someone to try a product first without having to spend a fortune on full sized products is a good deal whichever way you look at it - I don't use many lip products but for £2 am trying out a quality product and if it doesn't work for me it is only £2 wasted and not £14!:)

I find the mascara with the magazine good and I'm quite picky! I usually use benefit bad gal mascara and I've had the maybelline falsies one a lot too, but thought I'd have a try of something else. Really handy handbag size!

I think it needs a few coats, but maybe its because of the small size and there isn't much in the tube?

I got the mascara from the Boots swap & its a comb not a brush -mind you it was the white tube not black, I didn't realise they had different brushes! I love the lipstick too -on the hunt for another one ( or 4):rotfl:

Thanks, I'll give it a try, I really need a good one to add to the 8 or 9 useless ones languishing in my make-up bag !
