Oh dear - I am not a seasoned 'hunter gatherer' yet - don't worry though, I'll get there as I definately want to be one of the above:D

From reading your most recent most, you are now!! Welcome!!

I gave away 4 copies of the mag to the girls at work, they were well chuffed. One to my sister (she gets the gift though) and got 2 for the charity shop tomorrow or the volunteers who work there to read! I have never tried Clinique, so this is a real treat for me. I wish I could say I feel guilty but <sigh> I am pleased with my 'freebies'....now have to clear out some magazines so i can at least keep to my one in one out on mags and the no buying toiletries is so getting in the way of these offers!!

Now I have to stop looking at this thread because it makes me want to go out and buy another couple :rotfl:and I've still got my Body Shop groupon voucher to spend.....!
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

I got two more of the dramatic different moisturiser, a mascara and an eye cream.
Got them from 3 different shops and have seen everything available apart from the lipstick, but wasn't interested in that anyway.

It's such a treat to be able to use clinique products again.
But like others said I can't believe the amount of 'empty' magazines I saw today, if you want the product spend the £2, it's more than worth it.

Not everything works out such good value, if just buying for the freebie. The liquid facial soap is £13 for 200ml retail, and you get 30ml with a £2 magazine. Good for free, but better value (for me) are the lipsticks/glosses, face/eye creams, and mascara.

    Thank you juliebunny:)

A poster mentioned earlier about the eye cream being small and not lasting long I think? You only need a tiny dab on the end of your finger, I got one as a GWP and think it has 15ml in it and has lasted me well over six months - I tend to use it three or four times a week. I stopped using it up until last week when the mag promo reminded me to start again and my eyes are already softer and the skin nicer after only a few days so I would always buy this anyway at full price.

I think everyone should calm down a bit and think this over before rushing out to buy 10 copies of Glamour for £20 because not everything on the gift list is good value.

I'm a long-time (permanent!) Clinique client, and those items usually come in a Bonus Time gift pack (around 5-7 items per pack) when you buy 2 full-size Clinique items, one to be skincare. The cheapest Clinique products are around £12-£14. So, for £24, you can get 2 full-size Clinique products along with a full set of mini-treats. Clinique tends to give away a lot of full-size lipsticks, samples of mascara and lipgloss, the facial soap, make-up remover...

For me, the best value products are the Moisture Surge and eye cream, mainly because you don't tend to get big samples of those items in the Bonus Time gift packs. In fact, the last one I've got was only a 15ml tub of the Moisture Surge. With Glamour magazine, you're getting a 30ml tube. Hence, I was lucky enough to get 2 tubes with 2 copies, or else I was contemplating to get the actual full-size product from a Clinique counter soon.
