:eek: It's the people who are shoplifting the freebies that are spoiling it for everybody else. I would have thought shops would be delighted that a customer wanted to buy multiples of any item. It's difficult enough to sell anything at all these days.

Sainsbury's in Leeds city centre were sold out today. Fortunately WHSmiths had plenty to choose from. I got the moisture surge but they also had face wash, face scrub, lipstick and both the lipglosses from what I saw.

I went into a local newsagent and into Sainsbury. I bought a couple of copies in each - with the particular item I wanted. When I went into Sainsbury, there were only three copies, apparently, left. Everyone one had had the free gift stolen out of the packaging. The assistant told me it happens all the time. I just can't get myself into the head of someone who thinks that is an acceptable thing to do.

Anyway, a brief scout around revealed half a dozen more copies tucked in behind other magazines and I got a couple more Moisture Surge.

I don't think, within reason, it is unacceptable to buy multiple copies because that, after all, is why Glamour is putting in the different iterations of the free gift. They are pretty much encouraging you to go for the full set.

I bought my copy in the local garage when we went for diesel - hadn't thought of looking there for magazines before and they had loads.

My OH now thinks I am bonkers AND obsessed after seeing me come in with four more mags:rotfl:

He is taking some spare copies to the girls at work on Monday and I have also given some away.

Anyway - got home to find my free Claudalie gift has arrived:T But, it is quite small for a body souffle and while I am happy to pay full price for Clinique stuff anyway there is no way on this earth I would have paid £20 for that little tubette of lotion!

Success on the eye cream front tonight back at Tescos - they had a whole load more magazines out, could've got any of the ten but had to restrain myself as that is five things now. Well chuffed with this.
