argos tried to refuse me phones

has anybody else tried to purchase 2 mobile phones at argos at the same time. i reserved one last night and one this morning before heading to the shop, after giving the reserve numbers i was told they did not sell more than one phone of the same make/model to the same customer, not happy with him i told him to sell me one…

I had the same problem in Metro Centre Gateshead, i'd reserved a £34.99 one and a £29.99 with £30 credit, at the checkout the woman told me she couldn't sell me 2 phones even though they were different models - had to call my hubby over to buy one - she did let him use my credit card tho!
