Well spotted- Argos staff have all my sympathy, even after spending 45 minutes waiting for them to find a Singstar Rocks with microphones the other week.Just because you used to be you think everybody else is, don't you?0 -
Its not just argos with the 1 phone per customer policy many other retailers have this policy. As mentioned before its because they only get paid once the phone is registered.0

yup it is common policy now because of box breakers! phones are subsidised as the networks expect to make money back from top ups etc! shipping them off abroad looses them money!
3 even went to the extent of glueing in sim cards in some of their phones!
good policy i think, not always easy to realise what is a genuine customer and if the non genuine buy all the handsets then its the network and the genuine customers who sufferYes Your Dukeiness0 -

Well, don't I just feel like an idiot!Problem is though, it was totally plausible as while I haven't been hit I've been intimidated and had to cover other staff who went off in tears after dealing with nasty customers - working in Argos has pretty much made me hate most people off the bat instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt. There are so few people who are genuinely nice even when you are telling themsomething they may not want to hear.
