Asked to post to a BFPO address?

My wife's sister is married to a guy who is in the army. We send them packages all the time, and there's never been a problem. Some of them can take a few days to get there depending on where they are based.

Mykidsmum, what on earth did you send that was prohibited? There is a list of prohibited items at the link below, but there is not much on it aside from the sorts of hazardous goods you can't send through normal mail.

I can only think it was the 3 big tubes of sweets I put in? there was nothing else in there that was banned, maybe they looked like exocets on the x-ray machine lol. I did email my nephews and tell them how much I enjoyed eating their sweets.

If you're accepting payment by paypal then definitely only send it to the winning bidders registered address.

A lot of Post Offices are not aware of this yet, as I found out today when I went to inquire at mine, so if you go into your PO and they dont know tell them to look in their Operational Focus Magazine issue 33 page 13 article 12.
