I am not told that 1 propoint = approx 40 cals and that anyone can divide the calories in any food by 40 and get the number of propoints in food which means I don't need unlimited gadgets.
Some things have to be rounded up just like the propoints and I am sure there are some die hards who will find the exceptions. But its a good guide and you can check your points with your online calculator or wheel at home.
It really is much easier and cheaper than using any of the WW gadgets. :j
Why do you need the convert anything into points? Why can't you just count the calories?
I know some calories are better than others but you can use your common sense for that.
I can see that WW is helpful to keep you on track and or support but the points system is really useless.Wedding 5th September 20150 -

The formulas are always on Wikipedia:

Thanks :-) I know the formula but it is still complicated and time consuming to actually do the sum particularly without a calculator, when a simple divide by 40 will get the answer. The most potent weapon of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. Steve Biko0

Eat less junk, eat healthy food in smaller portions and do some exercise.
Much better ploughing your money into exercise you enjoy and a healthy eating recipe book IMO.
I was always the fat kid who was left till last when PE teams were picked and I absolutely hated PE. I joined a military style boot camp last year and everyone thought it was a passing fad, like the gym and various classes etc. It's full of women who are all shapes and sizes and all levels of fitness, and it's a great laugh as well as burning about 600 calories per session. I feel great, look toned, feel fitter and more energetic. I go three times a week now and I'm thinking about entering the race for life, which has shocked people I know. Here I go again on my own....0 -
I made some millionaire's shortbread the other day; 16 pieces contain 400g of butter and 250g sugar, not to mention the chocolate on top...!!! I estimate they have around 430 calories each.
DELICIOUS!!
(Obviously I only eat one or two a day, and also do a LOT of exercise pushing DS round in his pram to get him to nap, and am breastfeeding, which will burn off the calories for one of them!)
I'm afraid all diet enterprises have one goal which is to make money, and do so by preying on insecurities and weaknesses of fat people. Fat people are generally fat due to a lack of will power, thus make excellent targets to get them to part with cash!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
