If you are flexible new deal the job centre will NOT give you any money towards Interview clothes (they don't have any anyway). You will need to go to your provider ASAP to see if they can help. They will probably need something in writing and you will not be surprised to hear you will be decked out in Primark stuff

NB Tomorrow would be a good day to ask, not 4pm on Friday

    YES :)

You can apply for clothes for interviews every 6 months. You will be told how much you can use, and then you have to go to a shop (they'll give you a list of shops to go to like Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop etc), with that you can get yourself shoes, trousers/skirt, shirt/top and a suit jacket if you want. You can't get jewellery to go with it though lol. You then tell the shop (you can use several diff ones at a time, so you could get your top from one and shoes from another), that you are from the jobcentre and need them to be priced and held for you, they'll give you a slip that then says what and how much it comes up to and they'll stamp it.
You go BACK to the job centre, who will then fill out a form for the clothes, and you go BACK to the shop/s and give them the form and then you've got your clothes.
You can ALSO ask for help with travel costs as it's not local :) I think you need to pay it yourself, and then give the tickets in and they'll reimburse you.

I've had to do the interview clothes thing twice so far (I lost weight [yay] and needed smaller ones).
    Good luck!!!!!

As Mr Falling Star has said Jobcentre Plus cannot pay for your interview clothes through ADF as you're now registered with your FND provider. It's their responsibility to provide their own version of ADF so they should be approached ASAP

Mr FS is correct. You cannot get help from JCP under the Adviser discretionary fund if you are on FND-you have to ask the provider
