Back dated valuation of Car

Hi
Currently going through a very messy divorce (in Scotland). We separated in 2006 and I kept the car. Lawyers now want it valued as at 2006.
It's a Nissan Tino 1.8 s - 51 plate.
Can anyone advise a website where I could get a valuation without paying? Parkers and Glass want £4 - £5.
I've tried my local garage to check if they had a copy of Glass and also main reference library with no luck.
Thanks in advance

From Jan 2006 CAP an Almera Tino Estate 1.8 S 5Dr 2002 on a 51 with 60,000 miles "average" would be £2950.0

Thanks for your reply _ "From Jan 2006 CAP an Almera Tino Estate 1.8 S 5Dr 2002 on a 51 with 60,000 miles "average" would be £2950. "
Please excuse my ignorance but what is "CAP"? The mileage was about 41,000 and it is a 2001 reg car. Does that make any difference to the value?
Is there anywhere I could get a valuation which would stand up in court? Please don't think I'm not happy with your valuation - I am as it's way lower than my ex reckonsI just need to have evidence for the courts.

Does it really matter that much? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
In the current matrimonial dispute every penny matters:) which is why I am asking for advice here.

Yes, I understand that, but if you can't put your hand in your pocket for four pounds, on something so apparently significant, I fail to see how important it really is.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
if its for a divorce, use the lowest valuation you can get if its your car. And dont forget its will be in "poor" state and need new tyres, service and some repairs, hence this should be costed/accounted for in the valuation!0

This thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3080084 has a link in Post 17 to get a free Glass's quide check, don't know whether it's possible to get a vaulaution as at a date in the past though.0

You could send a letter to CAP or Glasses, tell them what you need and why. Then ask them if they have a copy of the CAP/Glasses guide from 2006 that you could have, you could also go round a free small dealerships and ask if they will sell you one of their old trade guides.
You could try eBay, one may turn up, once you have one you can then use the appropriate page in court.0 -
OP contact a local garage and see if they have old copies of CAP or Glasses for the period you wanted and give them a fiver for a photocopy. (Incidentally it was CAP Black Book Jan 2006, page 644 if you find one locally).0
