I have a bad experience with Odds and Pods as well. I bought my daughter an ipod Panda docking station. It did arrive on time for christmas, but the remote didn't work properly. I emailed the company and they offered a remote replacement. But I did not receive one and they ignored all my further emails. What to do?0

I too had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company, I placed an order for some Sennheiser earphones with them at the end of November, as they hadn't arrived after 7 days as advertised I emailed them to inform them they hadn't turned up, no reply, this went on for several weeks, each email was ignored until in the end I asked for the goods within a week or a refund and threatened to contact the credit card company that had issued payment and get a refund that way if I got no joy from them, I then finally got a reply from them saying they were having problems and were sending them to me, I did get them a few days later, six weeks after I placed the order with them. I believe the earphones are the genuine thing, but would not use Odds and Pods again, nor recommend them to anyone else.Psychosomatic addict, insane.0

Can anyone help!, I sent a letter to the bank using the above template and never got any response from them. I then called on the 23/03/2011 there complaints line and they referred me to the Visa team they talked through all the transactions on my account when I told them it was for Odds and Pods they said say we can see that transaction and advised they will send me a letter to fill in and send back some evidence. When I received the letter on the 24/03/2011 it was for the wrong company they sent me a claim back form for Comet because the same amount had been spent with them on the 26/12/2010.
I called the bank back up on 24/03/2011 and was apologised to and was told a new letter would be sent out to me after I explained the wrong company was on the letter being disputed. I received that letter on 28/03/2011, this thankfully had all the right information on it. I did as the letter asked included receipt from when I returned the item back and all my e-mails I had from the company, I even went on the Royal Mail website and printed out proof that the item had been received back.
The letter the bank sent me said they need this information back by the 01/04/2011, I sent all of this back to them on the 29/03/2011 as I never returned home until late in the evening on 28/03/2011. I also sent this to them Special Delivery because I knew about the time frame being so small. Also on the letter it says I need to allow up to 10 working days for them to hand the query.
As it had been over 10 days today from 01/04/2011 I thought I would chase them up for an update. When I got through to an advisor he just said my query had been closed because of the time frame. I though it must be right then, I must have ran out of time I asked him what can I do now he said I would need to speak to consumer direct over it and go down the small claims court and laughed at the amount £180.00. I then hung up and came back on here and checked what you guys had told me 180 days.
I calledthem back and asked about the 180 days they said no it's only a 120 days and this goes from the date the item was delivered (14/12/2010) I'm not the quickest person to work out dates but that would have ment 107 days from the date they received my letter 31/03/2011 so I asked why has it been closed. I young lad sounded so confused that I had worked that out he had to put me on hold. After being on hold for a few minutes he came back and said no sorry my mistake it goes from the statemented date, which is over the 120 days sorry please refer to the letter we have sent you today and you can then dispute this with them.
I then asked what was the charged date and he confirmed the 07/12/2010. I asked what date did you receive my letter he confirmed the 31/03/2011 and I then asked when do you start the claim from the date you receive the letter he said yes. I then worked out the date again it worked out to only be 114 days the man started to stutter his works as if I had court them out. I also challenge him because he told me it was the delivery date they go from. He said I didn't read your details and assumed it was because you never received your item and we go off the delivery date. I then said no its to do with faulty goods then he when it is the charge date we go from.
I then asked the man, ok if you go by the date my letter was received why didn't you accept the claim as its only 114 days I was then put on hold again while he checked this. When he came back he said no your wrong I have justed counted this myself and it is over 120 days. I then said please check again because I think your wrong once again I was hold. He then came back and sounded like I had whipped the carpet out from under his feet because I was right with the date it was only 114 days. He then said I would still need to dispute on this letter once I had received it.
I asked why my letters had not been read correctly as everything was included in my letter (it was that thick full on information you would have thought I had written a story and was sending it to eastenders to be looked at for a future soap show) he just sounded like I had defeated him and he could not be bothered all he keeped saying was please just return the letter back to us if you wish to dispute.
I asked him if I still don't get anywhere after this 2nd dispute what happens then he said I would need to go to someone else like...... I finished this part for him I said CAB and tell them what you told me I can't claim because I'm over 120 days when really its 114 days and tell them you sent me the wrong letter the first time and then take you to court with Odds and Pods I can only imagine the mans face was like this .
I feel like I'm in the wrong for something I have not done wrong can anyone give me any advise other than to fill in the form and send it back to my bank.
Sorry for the rant but I felt I needed to get it off my chest. Thanks for all your advise. :T0
