Odds & Pods

Hi,

Just seeing if anyone can help!

I ordered my partner some Dr Dre Beats headphones for christmas off a website called Odds & Pods. I thought at the time they where a really good bargain for £160.00 (I know its alot of money for headphones but he really wanted them and this was his only present) They should have been £280.00. After waiting a long time for them to come after the quoted delivery date I got a bit worried I was not going to receive them. I e-mailed them and was told they would be on there way but due to the bad weather they have been delayed. I thought ok this is fine nothing to worry about. I then decided to double check if this company was a safe company and didn't sell fake goods, when checking I was quiet shocked that some people had said they sold fake goods. When I contacted them again I was assured they did not sell fake goods and that they where a real company.

The delivery finally came just in time for christmas I gave them to my partner on christmas day he played with them and he was really happy with them. The next day when he put them on again he heard a rattling noise when he picked them up. So I e-mailed Odds & Pods and said what had happened, I was happy to allow a few days for a response due to the christmas holidays. I never received a response back from them I had to re-email them about the fault. I was then told I could return the item back. I did ask about a replacement order at the original order price as the headphones at the time had gone back up to there original order price of £280.00, I received a reply back yes.

I received a return confirmation letter which I had to enclose with the parcel on it, it states return recorded delivery for just 75p when my partner took the item the post office because the item was over a £100.00 it cost him £6.00, not 75p as stated in there letter. These head phones where sent back on the 7th or 8th February I still have not received a replacement pair. I have also sent numerous e-mails over the replacement pair to which I have not had one e-mail back. Now when I Google the company for reviews it seems I'm not the only one who is experiencing the same problems and not getting e-mails back. All I want to know is where do I stand, I just want a refund back now as it has been nearly a month with out the headphones and my partner has bought a new pair from a local store what a great christmas present it was for him.

Can anyone advise what I can do thanks. :j
