I'm not in London but got my email yesterday with conflicting statements in it!!!!
Next to the High School i wanted it said 'place offered'
But underneath it then said 'we are sorry it was not possible to offer your child a place at your preferred school, you have 28 days to appeal'
I then got another email last night to say there was a system error and letters were going out in the post with the correct information.
No sign of the postman yet today
Fingers crossed for everyone else waiting to hear0 -

Postmans been finally, we got our 1st (and only) choice
But neighbour 10 doors down didn't get it, and we are only 1 street away from the school. Doubt if many of DSs friends will be going

This hapened to a mum at our school, she was very puzzled!
I didnt apply on line and so was very pleased when our letter arrived yesterday as the LEA letter sent out with application forms said letters would be only posted out on 1st. I think those who applied online got a letter too!
We got our first choice. We are in the NW and I have heard that its quite a small Y6 year across our borough, so I think the majority of people have got their first choice, even those living out of the boundary.
Good Luck to everyone, it only seems like yesterday that me and my friends were all getting stressed over forms and getting proof of baptism for church schools.0 -
