Her favourite toy at the moment is this. She loves it as it is easy for her to hold.
She also really likes her Sophie the giraffe teething toy
I've ordered this. Thanks!
I've just filled some tiny tubs I have with (uncooked!) rice and pasta, but I think her hands are still a little small for them.0 -
Door bouncers are good from 3 months, and a godsend when cooking. My DS used to be able to do a run and a jump with it as he grew, I have such lovely memories of him in it.
Fabric books are good, as they can be chewed on now and kept in bed as they grow older and want to read. The amount of times my cardboard books have been ruined by chewing!
You can never have too many jelly cat toys, and teething toys are also good. You can dangle them off the rings of the play mat.

My daughter loved an unopened bag of fusilli pasta as she could feel the shapes, it made a noise, and it was big enough for her to hold with two hands.

My sone is 12 weeks old and he has the leapfrog my pal scout for a little girl it is £7.99 in argos at the mo so better than half price. It sings and uses your childs name and is soft and cuddly and is from 6 months but we use it to interact with him and he loves it. It is kinda one of those products that will last a while.
He has lamaze captain calamari and he loves it with the clanging rings and shaking rattle and the tentacles hang down so its fun for him on his mat, pram and sitting up in his bouncer. we are looking for a jumperoo as we think he will love thatWorking to be debt free by September 2014

Fabric baby books. The ones that have lots of different textures to explore with mouths and fingers are great.
And mats and blankets that have different textures are great.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Look out for NCT nearly new sales in your area as I got loads of great quality second hand toys for my LO from there. He loved things that flashed / made noises, shape sorters and cars.0
