ubclaimed paypal payment

Hi, i won an item on ebay last night, sent the payment via paypal but when i went to check earlier the payments says it is unclaimed? why would this be?

Either the seller has given the wrong email address on the auction or else they don't have a full premier paypal account.

Use the contact seller option and let them know you have paid but they need to sort out the payment as their paypal account is not accepting it, and see what they come back with.

Hi sorry for being a pain, but i sent them an email, heard nothing, so i contacted ebay, they sent me the sellers phone number,i tried it (it was a mobile) but no answer, so i txt, still no reply. What should i do? i contacted ebay, but they have said nothing and the seller only has 1 feedback!

Reclaim the payment and report the seller for false contact details.

If the seller is stupid enough to then try an NPB on you, come back and ask about closing that using your original paypal transaction number.

I am then guessing that i would not receive the item i bought? and would i be able to win a NPB dispute?

As seller has not received payment they are unlikely to despatch the goods. If an NPB is opened once you have reclaimed the payment then entering the original paypal transaction number into the dispute will cancel it, if it doesn't do it automatically phone ebay and explain that seller was paid but did not claim payment.

Well i got a reply to my text, the seller states

'hey i mailed the dress tuesday around three so its making its way to you. Ill have a quick look at whats happening for you'

however the payment is still pending, why would they send it out if they do not have the payment? They don't even seem to know if its pending or what!

Once she has a look at it and gets back to you, tell her to come here, sign up and talk to us - or Soolin - about it. We could probably help her more directly.

I think it might show in her My eBay list as "Pending" - an hour glass appears next to the item listing - so she could assume things are just waiting to clear into her account. Particularly if she's new, she might not know what's going on.

Ok, so i cannot contact seller....again! after trying all day yesterday, i received the item in the post this morning...admittedly the packaging was ridiculous and it arrived in a royal mail bag, but i got it.
However the seller still does not have payment? :think:

Then personally I would leave her now to contact you. Just keep the money aside so you can pay her when she gets her act together.
