I am a free minimal fuss web design software, used one about 15 years ago so I guess things would have changed a bit now. Looking to do a small online business project, maybe one or two pages at most. Thanks

Isn't there a dreamweaver trial version knocking about? 30 days should be enough for 2 pages

I use Noomle.com actually, it is free for people to use unless you choose to contribute a small amount of $5 every two months and though it does not give the prettiest of results it is a way of at least getting something online if you have no hosting, which tends to be by far the biggest cost associated with a small site.

You tend to have a limit of 30gb per month but your plan costs $10/mo yet you only use 2% of it? Where is the efficiency in that? lol

Start using Noomle, here is an example of what can be done with it :)

If you strictly want a web design editor I would go with kompozer, it is free and you are not stuck with a 30 day trial, which is all very well with dreamweaver but that is like trying to crack a peppercorn with a demolition ball, it is way too much overkill and too powerful to learn in a short space of time to make it worthwhile.

Things have shifted in 15yrs, of course! More and more sites are actually based on CMS with templates - try http://www.drupalgardens.com/ for instance.

I can imagine things have moved on in 15 years! :) I think the last program I used was called Adobe Live or something like that. Will look at some of those suggestions. Thanks

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
