Barclays Golden ISA Issue 2 start date

I have a letter from them dated 13th May 2010 - is this the date of opening? (I should have written this down :o) or would the date of opening be a few days earlier and that is just the date the letter was sent on?

Pass. But I had a letter from them recently telling me that my one year bonus was going to be up on a certain date, so I know I opened it a year before that date. Have you had one of these yet?

well I have received a letter from them now

but it just says it has nearly been 12 months and the bonus ends 'soon' - not actually specifying which date it ends on

Do you have access to Online Banking? If so, you may be able to use your statement of the ISA to find out when it was first opened (IE when you made the first deposit into it).

If you leave the date range blank it should show up to 1 year's worth of activity on the account, so you should be able to track down when you made your first deposit, and then add a year to that to determine when your bonus ends. :j

Oh dear, well don't worry, are you close to a Branch? As you could go into Branch and ask for a printed statement for the last year. Alternatively you could call Barclays and they should be able to send you a printed statement or possibly tell you the exact date when this was opened.

Best of luck, I hope it works out for you :j

I phoned them after my last post - the lady told me the date - it was one year after the one on the letter I had originally - so the letter is dated on date of opening rather than date of sending the letter
