Showed the offer before heres the decision
On this occasion I have been unable to confirm precisely what information you were given at time you purchased the policy. In the circumstance , as a gesture if goodwill & without any admission of liability , the bank is prepared to make you the offer detailed.
    I posted offer earlier on.
    Thanks Jay

That means they are accepting your complaint without liability. That is a normal compliance wording. Its similar to the Scottish Not Proven outcome. i.e. guilty, not guilty and not proven.

It is unlikely they will increase the offer given they are using the defined calculation.

So the loan did not run long before you canceled ppi?.
The offer sounds good to me. They are giving you ppi back with interest.
    Congrats on your win :j:j:j

Got a 4 week reply saying still not completed investigation. If after another 4 weeks they will get in touch, anybody any idea what happens after the 8 weeks?

    Hi Jay

Normally once the 8 weeks have passed and if you hear "nothing" or a decision your not happy with you can take your complaint to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS).

However, they may even write to ask for more time, but still give you the option of the FOS.
Check the FOS website for more details.

    Good luck.
