Not as good as a Martin Lewis money programme certainly!
I always think 'Martin does this better' when I see these shows.
I agree with you about that, they should decide whether to be 'extreme money saving' or 'reasonable cutting back'.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -

Anyway I have 2 UU:

Strongly suspecting that this is nail based and crackly!!!

I think you suspect correctly... although I have an admission. I had to go to Maplin just now... And there was a huge B**ts next door which was calling my name and inviting me in. The doors even opened for me as I was 'walking past'...
So I came out with a 342... one youknowwhat and two other somethingsimilars :rotfl::rotfl:Let's say a sphinx and a peacock :rotfl::rotfl:No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

No, I didn't think it was you who'd done so - hence I kept my reply to you and the other comment apart - apologies Viv, I should probably have clarified that the comment was from someone else - I couldn't remember who it was who'd said it and in any case had no wish to "call anyone out" over it in particular! Not offended at all - nothing wrong with healthy debate (almost typed DEBTate - habit there maybe?!:p) and god forbid this turns into one of those dreadfully pink and fluffy threads where everyone is falling over themselves to spread platitudes and nobody ever dares to disagree! :rotfl: I'd add a *hug* but only have access to the dodgy "group hug" smilie and frankly THAT isn't fit for polite company!

I thought I was bad with four nail polishes this month (although they were No 7 bought with £5 vouchers). :A
But TWENTY!! (faints)
Other recent ins: No 7 green primer (bought with £5 voucher) so only £5. Not sure about this, though it had good reviews on MUA.
And I was very bad in John Lewis yesterday
(though it was sort of April, as I had been paid) and bought Liz Earle eye serum as I look a bit corrugated first thing in the morning. As I was paying and having a free scoosh of LE No 1 perfume, I said to the SA that I loved the smell of the skin tonic and it was a pity LE hadn't copied that for the perfume. She said how much she enjoyed spritzing the tonic during the day, to refresh her and her makeup, so I bought one of them as well. :rotfl:Off to have a spritz right now! 0 -

My kind of logic, though I don't spend "real money" on toiletries. Well, not this year.
Re the Lady landowner's nettle pasta, I thought they were saying 'pesto' initially and I thought, yeah, you could do that ... and you can.

I think we are all agreed that the nettle pasta looked, and probably was, foul.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
