charlie - application all done?
Not yet - will hopefully have it finished after lunch though..its one of those akward applications where it gives you about 8 things and asks you to demonstate your experience in it....One of them is 'I have good Knowledge of IT systems like Word and Excel'
Its like what on earth can I put for that? Im using Word to type the damn application!
Unfortunatly Im not holding my breath for this job as they preferably want someone who can speak Welsh too and I can't I know about 4 words....Arraf is stop lol
Trying to register my LYB card online and set up a BS account but it won't let me....everytime I try to sign up as a new user it says my email address is already registered, so instead I try to login - it wont accept my normal passwords, so I do 'forgotten my password' and enter my email address and it says my email address is not registered with them! GAH
Ended up registering with a different email address as it didn't like my normal one, really annoying
Ooo please don't shoot the messenger but if you buy the Daily Mail this saturday (80p) theres a voucher for a free BS body butter (doesnt say size)MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Here less than a week and i've already got a reputation:rotfl::rotfl:
I wish I had more imagination, it took me hours to think of a username that didn't involve my actual name:rotfl:
Morning ladies :hello: Just... must type quicker....:rotfl:
Hope everyone is well!Hugs to those who need them:D
I'm finally half way through a S&G body butter - I think i'm going to have 10 baths this evening and apply it after every one just so I can get through it and use something else :rotfl:
I'm off to the dentist soon and to get there I have to walk past boots, a pretty handmade soaps etc shop and another pharmacy thats 99.9% toiletries with a massive NV (clearly my current obsession!) stand in the window:rotfl: Wish me luck:rotfl::rotfl:
I'll count my total number of NVs later, it's probably about double of what I bought yesterday:o
I reeeeeeally need to know what this crackle stuff is and if I need it:j0 -
I completely agree with almost all comments on the Superscrimpers programme. In the Eighties there was a brilliant programme on the BBC called Bazaar, it was packed full of money saving tips, with Shirley Goode's cookery slot being the best bit. I have all the books linked to that series. The Beeb could do with rediscovering Shirley. There will no doubt be a Super Scrimpers book, think I will wait until it appears in the discount book chain stores like most Ch 4 spin-off books.
Re the Lady's size - that is a tad unfair perhaps, I had a friend of similar size who was an expert scrimper. I piled on the weight when my lifestyle changed (though not quite to the Lady's extent!)Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... That new Ford fiesta was great, I would have taken it in a shot - he made himself look like a right ar*e didn't he!
Had anyone else written this I would have though they were joking but not actually sure about XOXO - great name by the way, LOL! I really should have been more imaginative when making up my user name :rotfl:
Oooooh nearly forgot, UU my S&G Girligo! Quite like it but not the pump spray cos once your hands are covered in it, it gets slippy and hard to spray. I know a few people here don't rate it. WIBA - not sure, but have another one in my stash from some gift set or other!!
I don't like the Girligo either - it's really annoying when it gets slippery. I found 4  of the mini ones a while back and managed to sell them all on ebay...glad there's people out there who want to buy them :rotfl:Where do I start?? One UU last week that I forgot,
Colgate Pro-Sensitive Toothpaste - WIBA? Maybe, I buy whatever's on offer, though usually I prefer Sensodyne.
Yesterday,
Clinique Makeup Remover for Lips, Lids & Lashes - 125ml - WIBA? At some point - maybe with a really nice GWP. I have the one I got with G magazine, then might try the L'Oreal one recommended to me here.
juliebunny - I'm not a fan of bath bombs (like ducky I think!!), and some really are hit and miss. Though I really liked one of the white ones I had in the Lush xmas set of ballistics.
Sofababe - I love EA She too. So lovely of the seller to pop some samples in as well
xoxo - I thought I was nail varnish mad!! But that is a [STRIKE]lovely [/STRIKE] terribly huge haulOut of curiosity what's the total number of nail polishes you have?
charlie - application all done?
minerva - hope the interview goes well!
thevicster and pudsey - we've started a nail varnish revolution!! :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm sorry xoxo, me and thevicster are far too scared of juliebunny to tell you about crackle... Although maybe pics might be along later... But I'm NOT telling you what it is!
sunshineyday - that's [STRIKE]so not fair[/STRIKE] a really good deal. They were only reduced to £4 last time I went in
Taking my sister to Lakeside tonight. I will try to avoid anything except the youknowwhat at 17. Can't wait for my L'Occitane order to arrive!!
I'm DEFINITELY not saying what it is either :rotfl:Can't wait to see what the youknowwhat by 17 looks like though!:D

Charlie, did you use IT at Uni for presentations, essays or anything? I always write about using powerpoint for uni presentations, internet for researching essays etc, word and excel for essays/research things like that. Maybe you could write something along those lines? Tell them you are currently learning Welshit'll show motivation as well...if you get the job, quickly sign up for a course
Bev - hope you're feeling better soon
xoxo - you're mad! No more polish for you! :rotfl:
Gutted I missed the superscrimpers program - will have to make sure to watch it next weekI want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around[/SIZE][/FONT][/B]0 -

Well the thing is Ive used computers all my life, had one since I was old enough to sit up haha....My last job was entirely computer based and I implemented an entire new database and digital arching system
But the question specifically asks for one example demonstrating usage. Ive litterally no idea where to begin - Ive already written about my previous job for pretty much all the other questions.
I did also put that I have a very basic understanding of some welsh but would be willing to learn the language if needed.....
God its so unfair I want the jooooooob!...
Trouble is even if I get interviewed, however unlikely that may be, they are going to want references from my previous employer and thats going to be near impossible now as the company doesnt really exist, none of the original staff are there and I only worked there because my mum did who the new company made redundant....Really doesnt look good for me
Decided to give this interview today a miss because all the threads on here say to avoid this company at all costs....not even worth my money travelling up to cardiff for itMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Afternoon all!
Couple of UUs this morning:
Original Source White Pear and Avocado Shampoo
Original Source White Pear and Avocado Conditioner
Probably WBA now. As I said in another post, I thought these were making my hair dull and lifeless but it looks like the culprit is the Vo5 smoothing cream. Not really sure what to do about all my hair creams, I have loads of them. 3 Umberto Gianni Sleek and Chic Smoothing Creams for a startI think a light serum suits my hair far better but they have discontinued my HG which was a Vo5 one. I'm thinking I'll try a hair cream a day and if they don't suit, offload to my friends and buy a John Frieda Serum instead. Unless anyone has any recommendations for any other serums that are good for baby fine hair?
Planning a pamper night tonight so there may be more UUs to report. I'm also off on a hen weekend from tomorrow so should be able to take away some of my samples and get them UU too!
Hope everyone is having a great day!

I'd be well impressed with that as an example of usage.

Youknowwhat by 17 hmmmm i'm going past boots in half an hour.. do I dare...?!! :rotfl: The staff in there already know me, I get "Hiii xoxo, no dot com orders today!" when I go in
Or when I do have an order, a voicemail saying "Hiii xoxo, yes there's another one.. see you later..." :rotfl:
Just after christmas I had so many boxes for my orders that they were going to send the medicine delivery guy out with them because it would have been impossible to get them home any other wayThankfully someone came up with the idea of unpacking the boxes and I only ended up with a few 4 large carrier bags overflowing of stuff rather than about 10 boxes :rotfl:
I don't think I can just go in and look at youknowwhat and not buy one of every nail varnish I don't already have the unnecessary youknowwhat :rotfl:
Arghhhh!:j0 -
