When I put my make-up on tonight before work, I loaded upa bit too much eyeshadow on my eyeliner brush. It made it look really thick when I first put it on. Even now, it's standing out quite well but I'm liking it :D. I can't get on with wet eyeliners or eye pencils so am really pleased that the eyeliner brush and a dark eyeshadow work for me. I find it very easy now to just throw it all on my face and go to work.

Can't wait to get home to bed tonight, I'm shattered! We've had a really busy night tonight. So I'm grabbing a quick break. Bonus is, the night's flying past!
Don't forget foam party today. I'm now not doing mine until Monday 28th as I'm getting my friend round and we're going to do each others hair. It'll be a nice girly laugh!

Good morning ladies. Thought I might have a UU this morning - a bottle of Sainsbury's Nail Polish Remover - but it's still hanging on in there. Must only be one application worth left now. Already bought a replacement (although I've bought Cutex ultra cleansing one) as I couldn't let myself run out of remover.

Have repainted my nails today with Leighton Denny Berry Nice. See link for colour: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-zjNwb69aGIk/TVQDUYNMeaI/AAAAAAAAANk/s9Q50m4oZuc/s1600/DSCF0194.JPG. Did try taking a photo of my nails but couldn't get a good shot so gave up. It's too early. Have a good day everyone. Not planning on buying anything beautywise today. Am hoping my Body Shop order will arrive though.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    hi guys

    hope your all ok

hi tara nice to see you on this thread , glad you managed to fleece MR T as well. Don't listen to anything they tell you about me i am totally sane and fit to practise.......you saw the thing about my experience with ghosts then......still sleeping with the lights on!!

swan LOL :rotfl:for your concern for Mr T!!!!! He better watch out!!!

charlie so sorry to hear about your experience with the implant, i apologise on behalf of the medical profession for what you went through, i am trained to fot and remove implants-if you decided you didn't want it anymore i would remove it simple as that. Do you know which pill you had the awful reaction to? Yasmin is the most modern and most expensive combined pill-it is NOT a progesterone only pill like cerazette, the combined pills all vary in the type/amount of oestrogen and progesterone they contain so don't let one bad experience put you off. As well as yasmin the other combined pill godd for skin is dianette which has an antiandrogen in it-i took it for yrs as i have had really bad acne into my 30's-it works wonders-the only problem is it has a slightly higher thrombosis risk that normal combined pills (most women love the cure of their acne so much are prepared to accept that). Go and have a chat with your dr again re your options. xx

Mariella great stash!!! fragrance collection coming close to mine, whats the colleen smell like? i have bought one (in my stash of 97) and not sure whether to keep or give away

vivh have you recieved your voucher yet for the tesco shop?

anyone thinking of nipping out to tesco to do a dtd shop DON'T!! looks like mr T has got wind and something very fishy is going on so hold your horses!

my update is that i am poorly in bed with flu:(, was just boasting the other day how i am invincible and immune to eveything my patients have!!!:p felt really ill yesterday-fever and aching all over and got a bit irate on the grabbit board wih the newbies:mad:-sorry! today didn't feel i could call in sick really hard to do when you have a 3 hr surgery booked-was on call as well this morning and horrendously busy have to smile nicley to patients who are poorly with a sore throat and want a sicknote thinking i am poorly too but working!!!, Did a locum this afternoon (have been doing a few to help pay for all the lloyds shopping and it keeps me out of the shops!:T)

LLoyds update -i have sorted my stash:T, am keeping 6 boxes although can't find space to put 2 of hem and returning 2 of them, have suprised myself at how aggressive i was at returning stuff, all 12 lee cooper fragrances going back, 12 mini fragrance sets, 12 lynx shower gels and sure a/p for men, loads of fairy journals that turned out to be rubbish and mens wallets (not sure why i ordered 12 !!!:rotfl: lol!) have offered stuff out to the staff at work if they want to buy at cost price as a favour but have said they have to buy in 3's as don't want to be left with oddments i can't return:T

ps vicster good luck with the boots interview, really hope you get the job for you but also for selfish reasons so you can help us with all the glitches all inside info for the boots sales!!! lol!

Wow celebrate, you are on a roll, well done with returning the Lloyds stuff, be brutal.

No I haven't had my tesco voucher, I haven't opened any of the things so Mr T will get the whole lot back if no voucher. Don't see how they can not though. When they came up with this idea you would have thought that it would have occured to someone that people would exploit it but still be within the rules.

After those 2 copies of Glamour that I bought earlier this month, I have been good and not bought anything. I have only 1 UU to report for this month: LE Bliss vital oils body spray, it smells gorgeous but oily body sprays is not for me. I prefer body lotion so I wont be buying again. That's another £1 in my pot.

    Have a nice weekend everyone.

Celebrate, hope you feel better soon.

    Hi,

I took the nail varnish off last night because it had chipped already after one day. I've replaced it with a 17 silver colour with the Barry M black crackle on top. It looks so much better than the No7 pink grapefruit one and i've put two top coats on this time. I would post a pic but Ds1 has stolen the batteries from my camera for his xbox controller.

I painted my toes with 17 mint choc chip with the crackle on top. It looks awful, i won't be using that combination on my fingers.

 £30? Fab bargain Sawan! Hope you're doing okay :( Think you're entitled to treat yourself after such a $hitty start to the year :)

Thanks hun *hugs* I did try to tell him that he's doing this for totally the wrong reasons - he should tell his parents he's not happy about it, and they love him to want him to be happy - but no luck :( Stupid, stupid boy :( He'll realise one day. Just didn't want it to be too late!! Not that I'm biased or anything, of course...

I'm trying to focus on totally material things to distract myself. I'm so glad today's sunny, so just reminiscing about happier days gone by, and not thinking about the future at all.

I thought it was an absolute bargain too - but I stopped myself from stocking up in case I don't like them!!

Todays nails are Rimmel I love lasting finish fruities (the scented ones) in Cranberry Zest with the crackle. Though I've decided for bold and bright colours to no longer use the crackle. It just doesn't complement it very well. I tweeted nails inc that they should bring out a white-ish or silver-y one (like floral street) to put over darker colours - in theory I think it would look pretty good :D

So although they now just look very dull, the Cranberry Zest makes them smell nice :D

celebrate Hope you feel better soon!

Today's (early) NPI was G with the eye cream. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying. But I still have 1/2 - 2/3 of my EL Advanced Eye Repair. And you need such a tiny amount, I couldn't warrant buying it :(

    Love that colour VALM :)

Great news that Red should be home soon trudij :T

Lemon Tree: Eyeliners - I love UD liners obviously (on offer at lookfantastic at the moment-but obviously higher prices), Bourjois duochrome pencil liners (342 at the moment in B**ts), No7 metallic liners seem quite nice (I only have the gold in that - £5 voucher), Avon In-A-Blink Liner/Shadow double ended pencil.
No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
