I took that for years and then I started suffering bad side effects, I switched to Yasmin as recommended by Celebrate and found it really good and no problems at all. I was told that you have to ask for it as more expensive then the others so not first choice offered by GPs. hth0 -
Well done holly! It is difficult and if I'm honest if you had said it was a really good offer on 2 I probably would have encouraged you as you want them so much *hangs head in shame*. But 6 is a lot. Oooh.. a thought, keep 1 for yourself and give the rest to family/friends? Not necessarily as birthday presents, but more as 'I saw this and thought you'd like it..?'
Also, I can't believe I forgot when I just posted to report my INs. Admitedly, I'm not adding much except 1-2 packets of wipes.
I took my niece and her friend to Costco. They're 11-12, no idea why they wanted to go, but hey, when I was that age I would have appreciated it. So I wondered around toiletries section (mistake I know) whilst they're looking at clothes or something. Why do I do this to myself?? Well I know why. My emotional state is pretty carp. This shouldn't but it makes me feel a bit better. When it rains it pours kind of year for me so far
Anyways, my [STRIKE]bargain [/STRIKE]naughty INs:
Olay Age Defying Wet Cleansing Cloths £5.96 (inc VAT) for a pack of 4!!
Olay Regenerist Eye Derma-Pod £5.96 (inc VAT)!!!!
Going to split the wipes with 1 or both my sisters. And bought us a pack each of the eye-pods.hollylangman37 wrote: ȣ30 in boots for them?!?!
At that price you can't really leave them and you did only buy one pack, not 20 like I would have done
 £30? Fab bargain Sawan! Hope you're doing okayThink you're entitled to treat yourself after such a $hitty start to the year
ps vicster good luck with the boots interview, really hope you get the job for you but also for selfish reasons so you can help us with all the glitches all inside info for the boots sales!!! lol!
snipped...
:rotfl:Thanks Celebrate...I had thought of that :rotfl:That would be very helpful to know wouldn't it??!!!! Obviously you'd have to stick your fingers in your ears and hum....!
One UU - Liz Earle shampoo - very, very nice but also pretty expensive!
juliebunny - MY made up job (and dream job) would be a writer or artist - shame I can't paint isn't it??!!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
This possibly isn't the best time to announce my UU - an M & S Ingredients Pomegranate Body Butter. I was convinced I had 2 more uses but son's GF had a shower last night....
WIBA? Gosh, yes, it's lovely, very fruity smelling but not overpowering, and rubs in really well. Great value when compared to BS butters and frankly I see little difference between them in quality. I may ask for an M&S voucher for my b'day, or possibly use my survey points to get a voucher, I would certainly get this butter again.
I would like to know what the other butters in the range smell like, so will have to investigate that at some point....
Two friends have recently had birthdays and we met up for a meal this evening.
I filled little Tesco shoppers with small-ish gifts, there were a fair number of toiletries there ,(all bought in Wilkinson's.) So my friends are getting to try the new Garnier lotion, the new Pantene volumising 2 in 1, Dove body washes ...Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
OH - forgot to say earlier (when I was confessing my sort of naughty in that Im really excited to try!!) Red had her heartbeat scan today - and we have one pregnancy, with a big strong heartbeat, so I can go and get her to bring her home soon !!!! Im SO pleased to be getting her home, Ive missed her so much... :j
(oh - and if you want a laugh - i was having a crisis of confidence last night, told the new fella that he shoud be with someone attractive and pretty... his answer "its fine - Im not picky" He's SO lucky I a) have a sense of humour and b) know that hes clumsy with words sometimes.....):o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

I love your idea of presenting presents in re-usable shopping bags And, I'm going to do it for my best friends' birthdays - I've got one an eco bag with purse from the Boots 75% sale and the other one an eco 'Animal' branded bag from the Animal site. Thanks for the idea!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
charlie792 wrote: »Nah injections are a no go for me
I seem to not be any good with the progestron only stuff, which both the implant and cerezette were and as the injection is the same Id be terrified Id be the same with that...
Like the implant (which made me want to rip my arm off) I couldnt stand the thought of something being in my body I had no control off, I think the injection would make me feel the same - at least with the pill I can stop taking it when I want etc
Also I faint every time I have a needle stuck in me, passing out every 3 months doesnt sound too appealing
Ahhh I so know where you are coming from. For me, add in the problem of having a memory like a sieve and not standing a hope of ever remembering to take a tablet daily.....we're not allowed to give medical advice on here I believe, but could I just suggest that googling "Evra" might be of interest to you, so long as you don't have a problem with having a sticky patch stuck on you for a week at a time.......;)
Right....budge along on the naughty step! Got my Clinique bits - supermoisture makeup and Sparkle Skin scrub. Also got the Bonus Time gift which contains a mini Superbalm lip balm, mini mascara, four colour eyeshadow (pink, purple, beige and brown - really nice colours too), mini DD lotion, mini Youth Surge moisturiser, and a mini liquid facial soap. Popped into the BS to see if there were any offers to tempt me into parting with the Groupon Voucher - there weren't, but I did come out with a sample of Hemp hand Protector which I will put into use immediately. Finally went to the House of Fraser Molton Brown concession to get a bottle of Handwash as part of my Dad's birthday present, and managed to talk the SA into dropping a couple of samples in for me as well! Theirs are excellent sizes too!So - a few ins, but not counting the handwash which is an immediate out again as a present, no actual cash spend, just AC points.

After poo pooing the tesco DTD yesterday I gave in today and hot footed it down there, got two large baileys, one olay aqua physics night cream, one day cream, one serum and one eye cream and also olay anti wrinkle classic. Did it in two separate transactions so hope it works, if it does the olay stuff will go on e-bay and if it doesn't the whole lot will go back. Sounds too good to be true really.
If it works the 1L bottles of Baileys will have cost me 81p:D, down side to this is I don't consider baileys alcoholic (even though it quite obviously is) and down glass after glass without thinking and once I added up all my units for 1 week and it was more than a mans allowance and I always say I don't really drink much:eek:.
I'm the same!!!:o p.s. did you check the price checker before leaving as Asda have put the price of Baileys up to £15 not (so less DTD). Also, the price checker has gone down so everyone is waiting to see what happens (but I see that celebrate has already warned y'all).hi tara nice to see you on this thread , glad you managed to fleece MR T as well. Don't listen to anything they tell you about me i am totally sane and fit to practise.......you saw the thing about my experience with ghosts then......still sleeping with the lights on!!
......
anyone thinking of nipping out to tesco to do a dtd shop DON'T!! looks like mr T has got wind and something very fishy is going on so hold your horses!
