You can see why I have to use hand cream!! It's the first time I've used this colour (Nails Inc. Montpelier Square) but I have to say I really love it.

I don't normally wear metallic colours (shimmery yes), so it is quite 'blingy' but in a good way I hope :o

Wow! Fab colour! Very 'minx' like!

Did my nails this morning a work - disco pink with a layer of BarryM nail effects.

    Hi to the newbies!

Mingle, hope you're feeling better soon *hugs*

Sorry to hear about your last day Roshy :( Glad your friends cheered you up though!

Think I'm allergic to my mascara :( (a L'oreal double ended one) my eyes were so sore today. I thought it was because I was tired, but just taken make up offf and not so sore now :)

Started using the Liz Earle range yesterday - loving the smell of everything - especially the moisturiser!

One UU this morning - Gok Wan shower gel - love it! Glad it's only available at Christmas though or I'd have a ton of it!

Mingle, hope you feel better soon. Roshydoshy - forget your miserable workplace now - as we all know you have new and exciting things planned ;).

Very smart colours Valm and Sawan. My toe nails need redoing but they may have to wait until the weekend.

I have sorted out a parcel of stuff to go to Give and Makeup:

    Simple Rich Repair Conditioner
Boots Mediterranean Olive Wheatgerm and Honey Body Butter
Boots Royal Jelly Face Cream x 2
    Next Bath Cream
    Chilli Pepper Lip Gloss
    Natural Collection Passionfruit Shower Gel
No 7 Protect and Perfect Eye Cream (mini from GWP)
FCUK Polished Body Spray (love this but have two and let's face it body sprays can last years!)
Ted Baker Bodywear Body Spray (love this but have two)

Im in for March. I think I'll be needing shampoo, conditioner and deodrant by then but can hopefully make the first 3 months of the year without actually buying anything.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

UU A Lush ballistic. No idea which one it was unfortunately, either Butterball or So White I think. But I'm not going to use any body butter () cos I just smell so nice. I did mix in a little bit of candy cane bubble bar. So maybe it was the combination.

Thevicster, would love to see your nails! Post a pic if u can. General knowledge purposes again. Obviously not going to buy any nail effects thing :p

Valm that is a nice red. I hardly use my reds. Maybe next time :)

Blimey 6 pages and it's only the 1st of March - I think I'm going to need rollerskates to keep up with this thread!

Welcome all newbies  enjoy all the lovely pampering

Mingle that sounds terrible, really hope you feel better soon, xx

Roshy that was a bit mean of your former co-workers, I'm glad your friends gave you a good night out though, enjoy your week off and look forward to a brighter future, xx

Loving all the lists! Sawan your nails look gorgeous, I haven't had time to join the nail party tonight, I'll hopefully get a chance at the weekend to paint mine.

Have my first UU of the month - P&P serum - a 5ml sample which I think might have been a GWP, wnba as I don't think it does a lot for my skin tbh.

Only planned purchase this month will be that magazine, I hope I can find one with the eye cream as I quite like it.

Loving the nails tonight - Swan & Valm - both of those colours I would wear.

Sarah - lovely to hear from you - do you have any nice smelling aromatherapy stylely products in your stash? They may help you out a little whilst your body gets used to the meds.

I have a splutterer to report which is my Issey Miyake 50ml fragrance. Been working on this for a while as it is really old and the colour has darkened. Almost there with it and I have another unopened one after that too.

    wow Sawan - fab colour!!

vic - pink with nail effects looks great. my daughter often does that - might have to nick it off her one day and have a go myself.

My nails are a bit short at the moment for a bright colour (they've been snapping ). So I've painted them with BarryM
    Pink Iridescent

    I'm in this month too.

I'm stuck at home for the next couple of days- on friday I was taken into hospital with awful abdominal pains and on sunday i had a huge ovarian cyst removed. Back home today and i'm in agony :(

    Hi to all the newbies!

Awww poor you - what a horrible few days you've had. I really hope you're feeling more comfortable tomorrow.

Hi Guys -I think this is somewhere I need to join!

Have to admit Im always buying toiletries I don't need or don't use - well I buy them on the pretense to use them but I can never bring myself to do it because if I use them I won't have them anymore - especially if they are in nice packaging, silly I know :p

The only thing I MUST buy this month is some more deodrant and to spend my bodyshop voucher from Groupon but as Ive already paid for that doesn't count in my book :D

You have no idea just how many of us have already confessed to exactly the same mad thinking as you have above! Bizarre isn't it - however I would have to say I identify completely! :o

Another Avon classic, just when you think you've found your HG they go and discontinue it.

Yep! Looks pretty conclusive that it's gone too as it's in my reps clearance section this time.

Roshy another one here who feels really annoyed on your behalf - what a shoddy way for your ex colleagues to treat you.

Vicster do you have another mascara to switch to for a few days so you can work out whether it is the one you used today that's the problem?

Lovely nail colours ladies, I didn't get the chance to do mine in the end as I had an Avon local reps meeting to attend this evening. Maybe tomorrow. :)

Well done also to all of you who have given to Give & Makeup - I emailed a local homeless charity who run a drop in centre for people to call in and get food, advice, and a chance to have a shower etc, and have had an email back froma lovely lady who says they would be extremely glad of any toiletries, lady-goods etc, so I will put together a box to take there. :D I was hoping I was going to be able to find somewhere local to donate to.

Just submitted my Avon order for this campaign without ordering anything for myself :T - not promising that I'll manage the same thing next time though as the blackhead clearing mask I've been wanting to try is on offer at £1.50 I think.

  • Hi everyone,

Can I join please? I have a lot of toiletries, not a patch on some people’s lists on here but still far too much for one to use!
My collection is so large due to the Boots sale and I can’t resist a bargain and this site doesn’t help!!

In an attempt to decrease my stash I have listed some lotions on ebay and they are all selling so will make a dent but not much. My aim is to try not to spend anything even if it is a good deal, which I find easier said than done!

I will not spend anything in March (honest), having received my Lloyds order today including dove gift sets, john frieda blonde and straightening hair sets - seven in total although the hair products are small containers !! I think I have a problem...

Valm, that is a gorgeous red! Need to get me one of those! :D (in 2020 of course :rotfl:)

Piccy for you Sawan...please excuse all my computer junk! Colour and effects do lots better than pic - my camera doesn't like close ups very much! (bit like me! :rotfl:). Nail effects things are v cool and I think it will make boring colours a bit more interesting!(not that I'm encouraging or anything!). Might try it with a blue or a gold next time.
