3 and T-Mobile seem to have the best deals - but why? Are they crap?
I'd like to pay no more than £25 pm - and that means £25 with no hidden extras and no out of bundle costs. I dont envisage I'll use that much data - no more than 500mb per month.
Anyone have any good tips or deals?

Try E2Save or Phones 4U and you can get it for less then £25 a month.
I can't speak for T-Mobile other then to say they promise "unlimited internet" but actually this is limited to 500mb a month which apparently is fine for most people checking emails or ebay and things and reading the odd paper but not if you use videos and etc alot. My father is on T-Mobile and today we tried to call customer services as he is unable to top-up. We were unable to get through to speak to anyone as they charge 24p a minute!!
3 Mobile I had been with for several years, progressivly got worse to the point of me being scammed into my last 18 month contract, promised a different (better) handset they send me a faulty old old old and refirb. one, they wouldn't fix it when it finally broke down until I sent it back and forth over 4 months, they promised me a contract then the paperwork didn't tie up, apparently the contract promised was only available for double the price...the list is endless. They let me go without arguement this time-though not before sending me a new 12 month contract extention apparently "by mistake". (Got cancelled). I wonder if my constant complaining helped! I had trouble leaving BIG TIME the previous two contracts.
I'd look into others experiences of 3 or T-Mob and see if you can work out where their failures are, what good points they have and if you can be bothered to put up with them all.0
