Excellent! Cheers. and avast is sufficient for future use? Regarding speeding the machine up a little - think Closed mentioned - is there stuff I can take off or do?

Hmmm, just turned it on and it worked for 2 mins then shut down with unexpetced error or something. didnt catch all it said byt the screen was blue. started ok again and so far so good. Any thoughts? Ta.

Download CCLEANER

Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)

Then run a fresh hijack log
