This url came up: (was a url, i had xxd out the http but now have removed it all)

and the screen is doing a lot of flashing saying 5 viruses found and security is affected by a virus. Is this legit anti-virus stuff or itself a virus trying to trick me? would do a screenshot but not seem possible from my laptop!

Don't click on anything, reboot

if there are any signs of infection, do a system restore.

then do a full scan with malwarebytes, fix anything found before closing

post a hijackthis log.

and scan with this

So you can see what i'm on about for !!!!!!. after you posted i removed the link (effectively). Is there any other way to do a screenshot other than control/print screen so i can show you what i'm on about. i'm not technical, i dont unbderstand if this is my anti-virus software working and i should follow the instructions or what it is and would appreciate advice.

Ok, i've removed the link, sorry, didnt realise it still worked with bits removed. saying follow the advice is fine if you unbderstand the advice. if i told you how to play golf in 4 lines of text i dont think it would work would it?
