Thanks for the opinions guys. The eBay address & Paypal (unconfirmed)address are the same (a lady), however, it was paid for via a male's card i.e. (all made up details)
eBay member: Claire Smith
eBay address: Claire Smith, 33 Lancaster Place
Paypal payment from: Rufus Lewis
Paypal unconfirmed address: Claire Smith, 33 Lancaster Place
Am I being too suspecious or should I just send the damn thing? Lol!0 -

Sigh. At this point my buyer appears to be wilfully uncomprehending - and it does appear to be wilful. His responses to my explanations so far amount to 'what's the problem?' This is a guy with zero feedback and no ebay history...
I'm getting no response to my suggestions of a refund and paying by PO instead. That bit gets ignored. Considering he's paying by echeque it would probably be quicker than waiting for it to clear!
Dunno. What would you guys do?
Plus, what's this about how easy it is to confirm your address? Anybody have a link? I can find ways on PP, but they seem pretty convoluted, not so simple at all.0 -

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I have to say that for all items I send under £32 I just get the free proof of posting from the Royal Mail. These insure the items against loss or damage in transit and out of 300+ transactions I've had to make 3 claims, all of which have been quickly and politely refunded by the Royal Mail. Yes, you have to fill in a form and provide documentary evidence but it all seems to work well and is probably quicker than the PayPal seller protection scheme.
Hope this helps put your mind at rest! Julian.0
