You probably need some Windows Updates if you have re-installed, plus you probably need the USB drivers too. I would first go into Windows Update and see what's needed. That might cure the problem, but just check first by going to start / settings / control panel/system then the hardware tab and click on device manager and see if the pc has a USB Controller listed there. If you then right click and select scan for hardware changes it might update it , but I would have thought that restarting the PC would have checked that automatically.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Control Panel / Device Manager / which of the components has a yellow asterisk ?
Is your restore disk SP1 or SP2 ? - [ USB 1.1 or 2.0 ]Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Thanks I tried scan for changes but that has not worked
None of the components have a yellow asterix
The restore disk is sp2
Is there anything else I can try?0 -

In device manage, expand Universal Serial Bus controllers and right click Properties to check if they are enabled.
If they are enabled there check the BIOS USB settings. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
