check the small print of your current insurance for possible penalties or just a quick phone call to them - they might match the better quote
Also before taking out a new insurance policy check out Quidco ( or other cash back companies ) to see if you can get a referral bonus for going through them

Hi I just picked up on this thread last night and just read all that went on today too. I just wanted to say fantastic DC (great name
) for facing up to your debt and everyone who's posted suggestions well done - the power of the internet to share issues is fab.
Best of luck I'm sure you're in the best place to get through things. My only suggestion is if you can find someone you know offline to talk to, who won't blab, that would be good.0 -

there are a few but Quidco is normally the highest paying - Topcashback and Rpoints are quite good too

If you are able to hold or cancel it it may be worthwhile, how long have you paid into it? remember £50/month is £600/year,that's quite a saving.Debt at highest £102k

5 years, and my company pay same amount to my pension as I do, actually wonder how much of a pay out I'd get if I canceled it?
Going to look out details and call them tomorrow....
