The farm near where I use to live, had some of their cats and kittens killed by foxes. Having looked at the picture of how this cat was found, it doesn't look much different to how the fox killed cats looked. I won't go into graphics.

I know that the smaller urban foxes in the centre of London are scavengers, but I was shocked to see some fairly large foxes (predators) in built up areas. Wheelie bins have stopped their easy pickings and foxes get hungry. Unfortunately, councils don't seem to cull foxes.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
Read the sticky on the House Buying, Renting & Selling board.

  • Thank you so much to everyone that has taken the time to sign the petition, if people were able to forward the link to their friends and relatives too that would be fab :A

Ferdinand's owner paid for an evidential (ie RSPCA approved) post-mortem and sadly the vet concluded that the wounds/mutilation were inflicted by a knife rather than a predator or carrion scavenger and this conclusion was strengthened by the fact that the injuries/mutilation involved specific colour markings :(

Good grief, I heaved when I read that. It's like some kind of sadistic ritual killing.

All the best with your campaign.
There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.

Thank you everyone, I am not Ferdinand's owner but am helping to spread the message on her behalf. As you can imagine she is devastated by what happened to poor Ferdinand and has set up the website, petition and facebook page as well as delivering 5000 leaflets to nearby homes to try and find out who is responsible for what happened to Fedinand and bring them to justice.

Gettingready - thank you for cross posting, if anyone else is able to do so we would be very grateful.

Spike7451 - Thank you for posting the facebook details too.

Murphydog999 - Very sorry to hear of your loss, thank you for thinking of others at such an upsetting time for you.

    Thanks,

I made Ferdie's mom aware of this post earlier & she is so grateful for the replies & concern shown by you all.

    Thanks Dollparts.

Just wanted to reiterate for others that whilst his story is of course very distressing there are NO graphic pics visible on the website. We do not wish to cause unnecessary distress, but have included a separate link to the photograph for those who would like to understand the seriousness of what happened to poor Ferdinand.
