Shame about that.
Is it the same deal that you get the credit to your gas account after 12 months?0 -
Pretty sure its the same deal, the credit is applied after 12months when starting with the std tariff. I've gone for it (theortically saves 10% on my predicted bill with EON for next 12 months). Only slightly worried that the BG websaver 11 deal is still around by the time I can change to that tariff when BG give me online account access...)0

Still not a bad deal then.
I am sure websaver 11 will be around in six weeks time as it as only been out for a week.0 -
It's the cheapest tariff for me too, at the moment. The rates are just a discount to the standard tariff, so the cynic in me seems to think that they can take on lots of customers in the next few weeks, then simply increase the standard tariff (again), and people are locked in for around 14 months, unless they pay a penalty.
I can't understand why the regulator allows these 'fixed discount from standard' to capture people with the possibility of a price increase, yet a penalty if you don't accept the increase. Surely, if a price increases, it's fair that customers should be allowed to switch without penalty.0
