Hmm thats a good idea because like some of the other posters I see nothing in the the deals that I need. Plus we never go anywhere to stay in a hotel and there are none of the restaurants anywhere near us.
Caffe Uno has recently been added and Cafe Rouge are on there. Also Greene King pubs, Yates', Litten Tree and Slug & Lettuce. There's a bit more choice now from when it was just Planet Hollywood and Maxwells.

We don't normally stay in hotels either but we spent Easter a couple of years ago in different Marriott's (Huntingdon, Rotherham and Arden) paid for with Clubcard deals and visited various attractions we would never normally go to using Days Out vouchers. From memory we went to Duxford, Magna, Cadbury World and Birmingham Sealife Centre - Thanks Mr T

SO what you are saying is.... I should buy some entertainment voucher with my Tesco clubcard vouchers, and then sell that voucher on e-bay and with the money buy even more Christmas food?

That being the case, what's the best vouchers for income return?

i believe it is best to have your vouchers converted first, into whichever deal you wish, then sell them.......some deals tokens come with your surname on and some stores will be arsey with whoever trys to redeem them if its not their name on the token BUT......i believe MFI don`t appear to care, so i would sell mfi tokens on ebay.
When things in life start to weigh heavy on your shoulders, and people all around are having a go, just smile and think.......Fxxk em!

For holiday comparsions I would normally take it to equal 3 times rather than 4 , as the prices for cash /internet bookings are often cheaper

    ie
£100 vouchers = £400 brochure price, but could have purchased at £300 cash.
( may get better, but a good way to compare)... on this basis it shows its clever to use vouchers if you have enough to cover full cost.. otherwise if topping in up in cash it can swing the balance .

BTW... any idea if eurotunnel is a higher price using CC deals rather than internet

I must be the only one here who uses Tesco vouchers to shop at Tesco :-p

I know we're not meant to, but I can never find anything that I want! Hotel bookings, holidays, etc... I'd rather get a bag of spuds and a loaf of bread TBH.

I was in the same boat nothing I wanted unless I went out of my way to use them but then I discovered the double vouchers for wine, I don't drink alot of wine but I had £40 worth of vouchers which got me £80 worth of wine ( also got the offer of 1/3 off) so ended up with 18 bottles of Wolf Blass normally £8 per bottle so would have cost £144 and I only had to add £18 including £5 delivery charge....That's Xmas sorted for the adults
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

I use mine for a day at the races as they can be exchanged for entrance - handy if you've got a stag/hen/work outing - more money for drinks! x x

  • HiI dont know if its common knowledge but I discovered that if your clubcard vouchers are due to expire in a few days and you cant find anything to spend them on they're not wasted! Just pop them in an envelope to clubcard customer services (think the address is on back of voucher/clubcard and in deals booklet) attatch a note and they will 'refund' the clubcard points onto your next statement. Not sure if this next one is still valid but has worked for me in past few years. If you have changed the clubcard points into vouchers for something like the theme park entrance tickets offers and dont get to use them just send them back with a note attatched and they will again re-imburse the points onto next statement.Personally I cant find much to trade them in for either. Yet reluctant to spend them in store as their not so good a deal!Thinking of using some for hubby to go on an 4x4 experience day but theres nowhere close enough! Also need a new vacuum cleaner and a Wii ;)

I've had vouchers that were coming up to expiry so I ordered from Tesco direct (delivery for store pick-up) using the vouchers, then in the store said that I'd changed my mind. No prob with refund of vouchers, with new extended date. Hope this helps someone. ;)
