 I have £28 in Clubcard vouchers for this year. I was going to blow the lot on Christmas fare and in store offer wine deals. Can I do better???????????????????

I don't want RAC, hotels, meals or a flight to Alicante...

get the deal tokens and sellf them on ebay - you will still get more than the original tesco voucher price.

I must be the only one here who uses Tesco vouchers to shop at Tesco :-p

I know we're not meant to, but I can never find anything that I want! Hotel bookings, holidays, etc... I'd rather get a bag of spuds and a loaf of bread TBH.

Same with me. I converted a few to airmiles a few years back but then never used them. Never seen anything in the offers that I would use. I've heard people mention Argos vouchers but I've never managed to find them on the offers site & when I phoned up to ask they said theycouldn't remember argos vouchers ever being offered.

So I get food with them.

I had that problem with Beamish museum. I only ordered enough to cover a family ticket but they said you couldn't have a family ticket with them and you had to buy all tickets seperately so we didn't have enough and ended up having to use cash aswell. Mad because I did actually email them to check first but they never got back to me. The Seaworld place in Blackpool let us use them on family ticket though.

Someone mentioned on another thread that with Haven they say you have to pay brochure price if using vouchers, and no-one ever pays brochure price on Haven, if you ring up or book online they're about half the brochure price.

what you need to remember is that YOU ARE NOT USING ANY CASH so even if it costs more then it is still moneysaving - i bought jewellery in Goldsmiths recently - could've got for 1/2 the price at samuels but I parted with no cash!
on hotels/holidays the money that you don't use on a cheaper deal will be for your spends - win win all round !

SO what you are saying is.... I should buy some entertainment voucher with my Tesco clubcard vouchers, and then sell that voucher on e-bay and with the money buy even more Christmas food?

That being the case, what's the best vouchers for income return?

  • Hmm thats a good idea because like some of the other posters I see nothing in the the deals that I need. Plus we never go anywhere to stay in a hotel and there are none of the restaurants anywhere near us.

I am using my vouchers for airport parking which is the same price in deals as if I paid cash, now I am saving my deals for MFI I want to save up for a new bathroom. Also if you shop with tesco online I have found you can really up your points with vouchers from the vouchers board here. I have earnt around 3500 clubcard points in the last month just by doing my grocery shopping online, that equates to £140 in clubcard deals! That's my airport parking paid for and a new toilet!
