Why only an idiot ? Couldn't they get what they really wanted to put past the censor ?It only takes one tree to make a thousand matches, it only takes one match to burn a thousand trees. As well, the cars are all passing me, bright lights are flashing me.

Forgetting tax etc, I have never understood why emails are free. Seems someone missed out big time when it all started. Personally I would not find too much of a problem with 1p each. It's only the spammers that would suffer.
The basic premise of the internet is that data is all treated the same by servers except for at the end points. So charging "per email" is difficult, especially as anyone can set up their own email server given an always-on PC and a broadband connection. This makes it very resiliant and difficult to monitor, but also very difficult to charge for different "bits", until we all start using facebook email at least."Every single person has at least one secret that would break your heart. If we could just remember this, I think there would be a lot more compassion and tolerance in the world."— Frank Warren0
