It's not clear if it would cost 1p to send or recieve emails, as any spam you get (which could number 100's per day) would cost you loads.

Forgetting tax etc, I have never understood why emails are free. Seems someone missed out big time when it all started. Personally I would not find too much of a problem with 1p each. It's only the spammers that would suffer.0
