I have decluttered an article on ME for the AYME charity. Whilst writing it I decluttered a lot of tears....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
I've spent all week flying and spring cleaning so much so that I'm very pleased with how the house looks. Think all the week's lists are done (except for the cupboard under the stairs). I invested in some Oven Mate when I went to Lakeland this week and the oven's a lot better, although still not perfect by any means. Also bought some HG Mould Spray which I used in the bathroom and there's hardly any manky black stuff on the grouting or on the shower curtains now - woohoo!
However, I may have done too much. I caught sight of one of those charity bags that come through the door and it said "Help turn your unwanted clothes into valuable flying time". Couldn't really understand how that could work - until I read the bit next to it which explained it was for Air Ambulance! :rotfl:
So DH and I are off to Suffolk for the weekend to forget about kitchen renovation and cleaning. Back Sunday all ready to start back to work again on Monday.
Have a great weekend everyone...0 -
Morning all
I've tidied everywhere, got washing on the line (sunny today:)), made a sponge and some little fruit cakes, vacuumed through downstairs. Now just sorted out the banking and that's all I'm doing until it's time to cook dinner.0 -
Having a week of cba. House is a tip. DH back home tonight and he's going to be horrified. Still haven't unpacked from Paris. Been living on cheese sandwiches. BD seriously in residence. Have at least managed to walk dog - unfortunately its been dreich here so he's just tracked mud all through the house. Joy! Really need to snap out of it.
Doesn't help that DH phoned to ask for permission to volunteer for deployment to Afghanistan as the deadline was 2 days ago and he just found out about the opportunity. He did the same thing for Iraq. What was I supposed to say? We're going to 'discuss' it tomorrow. Then he's off diving at 5am Sunday. Ah well. That's life.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -

Have a hug and well done for writing the piece I'm sure it will help many others out there xAlso bought some HG Mould Spray which I used in the bathroom and there's hardly any manky black stuff on the grouting or on the shower curtains now - woohoo!
Glad it works, I bought some a while ago to use on the mould on the bay windows once spring has arrived.Having a week of cba. House is a tip. Then he's off diving at 5am Sunday. Ah well. That's life.
Have a hug, I've been very cba this week too but this morning have got on with finishing my flying upstairs from last week and feel better for it. Could you try just 15m and see how you feel? My hubbie is a diver (less so in recent years due to time with the kids). Is he off to a gravel pit? I could never see the appeal in the UK myself. Why not get some flying done and then on Sunday spend the morning on yourself guilt free.
Upstairs spring clean all done.
Washing on the line
Bathroom all cleaned
Lovely and sunny here but cold. I would garden but with the builders building an extenstion next door and the tree surgeons removing trees in their garden too it is not exactly peacful. Might pop out for 15 minutes just to sort out where DH has done the water feature. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
