    Jo x:A
  • Morning all. Had a sudden rush of business last night, that's the result of 2 hours' snoozing in the afternoon! Today have to get DD2 new shoes and trainers, clear up breakfast and do some washing.

The ironing is still untouched. Clever puppy had another poo-free night, well indoors, anyway, she isn't constipated!!

greenbee how weird is this? There is no provision for school governors to have maternity leave. I am left with two choices...ask them to accept my apologies for a period of time, while I am on mat leave, or take (if they will accept it) the baby to meetings. What would you do?
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Rant Alert feel free to ignore...

We thought we'd get DS2 on our car insurance for the week at Easter,

so we would have another driver to give OH and myself a break...

    £1200...how much? !!!!!! !! I can buy a wreck for that...with Tax

    £1200 for a week, for a 21yr old, full license holder for 2 yrs.but he's a student....

    £1200 for a 20 year old Land Rover, not a bl00dy Porsche....

£1200.... I've run out of words....

You could buy a wreck with that - and tax it - but he'd still need insurance. DS passed his test in March last year. We don't drive so he was buying his own car and sorting out the insurance -

    car cost £600

he did pass plus and the average quote was £2400! He has a sensor in the car and cannot drive between 11pm and 5am - and this brought it down to £1500!

His mate has just passed - and his average quote was £3000!

DS is coming up to renewal - and is more than happy to have the sensor on for another year.....

flying wise not much happened yesterday - OH's work phone had rung at 4am! So by mid afternoon I was cream crackered!

We did, however declutter a lovely family meal at the local pub! The food isn't particularly cheap, but is so good - and the portions were huge! It doesn't fit in with slimming world, but I've got until Tuesday......

Well I have done a binbag dash and emptied the DW.
Am dressed and ready to go and almost don't recognise myself! :o

Have got 15 minutes before i leave, so will try to find a home for some more carp.
This is my MAJOR gripe - I always have to tidy before I can clean - that's why the cleaning never gets done

Have a successful day flying everyone. I shall report back later x
