  • A huge thank you to those who offered careers advise. I have provisionally accepted the offer subject to a few details. The job sounds really interesting and offers a certain amount of career development and as my husband said the worst thing that could happen is I have to resign if they are complete nutters :D

If it gets too much but I like the new job I could drop one of my smaller parishes though this would be a very last resort as I love my job(s).

    So thank you :T

On the flying front my kitchen is sparkling (amazing what having something on my mind does for my cleaning abilities!) and the living room wouldn't be an embarrassment if the MIL popped by. :)

God I find homework with the LO so flipping hard!!

Bedtime he produces a flaming math sheet, that has never been heard of before, despite him telling me he had no homework......apparently he forgot!!! Which in fairness is probable cos hes useless!

He is apparently in the top math group and I just cant see how! Even basic addition/subtraction he has to use his fingers... He cant comprehend 6 + 4 = 10 but so does 4 + 6! He had to use his fingers to calculate 0 + 4... I mean, come on! Surely!

Honestly - im like a banshee and laughing all at the same and making light of it to him, encouraging him to THINK for himself, but inside, seriously IM SCREAMING !!!!!!!!!

    Ok - milk and a kitkat :D

    And breathe!

Flying - I have cleared a shelf on the bookcase in the dining room. Listed another teapot set on Ebay, put all the books together.

Found some misc crapola which can be flung... :D

    :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: I am so fuming :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Little gits have done it yet again, oh i'm so mad. The little bully asked me today at school if DD was going to the club tonight. I said she was as she always goes. Little madam used my first name too.
The bully comes out smiling and says goodbye to DD, now i knew something was up. Anyway DD went to the club where they (bully, bullies sister and NDN's brat) tormented her, kicked her, called her names etc.

I'm so stupid i should have moved her, i know i should have. Now she's stuck in a crap school, getting crap most days and having to stay in at break and dinner. I'm so cross at myself. DD now away to bed worring about tomorrow and knows there is no point going to the school disco tomorrow night because she'll be tortured.

I just can't do it anymore, i'm sick fighting with the school to actual do something, anything would be better than nothing. I'm sick of hearing how the gits are getting worse (an older boy shouting into her hearing aids making her ears sore) and getting away with it. DD tells the teachers, they then ask the gits who lie and then the teacher does nothing. I'm sick of there being no toys in the playground eventho they promised there would be a year ago. I've done everything by the book, talking to the head, formal letters. I've had enough the poor child doesn't get a break.

Sorry for the rant i'm just livid....:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Flying wise i've sorted uniforms for tomorrow, CBA to do anything else except growl from the corner.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Gah! Vanilla You totally have played everything by the book. Are you guys totally stuck with that school? (I seem to remember there were travel issues. but I might be wrong...?) Have you completely lost the opportunity to move her to another school? This is unacceptable behaviour! (I'm cross for you) That type of bullying can hurt you for life. (My mum was the mum in the wheelchair-MS when MS was something you could "rise above" and wasn't a proper illness- and I got bullied by both teachers and pupils because of it... and it took a while to get over!) So sorry she (and you) are going through the mill atm.
ETA- You're far from stupid! You went with what was suggested and it sounded good at the time. Up to them to uphold their end of the deal IMO x
