Does RyanAir weigh the hand luggage from Liverpool

Hi
I am flying to Oslo Torp Norway from Liverpool on Wed, does anyone know whether they weigh hand luggage. Whenever I fly from East Midlands they don't but I don't want to presume that Liverpool is the same. I'm only going for 4 days so I don't want to pay for hold luggage but I want to be able to take my friends kids some presents and although my hand luggage fits the dimensions i've just weighed it and it is 13 kg - oops.
Thanks for your help.

They tend not to weigh bags but they do tend to measure it size wise at the gate.Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0

Many thanks. As it is within the dimensions I think i'll risk it, i'll just sort out before I go the stuff that takes it over the 10kg that I don't mind loosing or can fit in my pockets in case they do decide to weigh it, at least that way i'll be prepared. I normally stick to their limits but found some toys I couldn't resist for the kids lol0

I travel 4 times a month with Ryanair, with hand luggage only and i have never seen them weigh hand luggage, but they hover like hawks looking for oversize or more than one bag,if you check in a suitcase then it is very possible they will weigh your hand luggage as well........wear a coat or fishing type waistcoat with very large pockets and put some of the small but heavy items in this, either before you get caught or after..............I carry 2 netbooks with chargers and other heavy items in my waistcoat and take it off for the x-ray belt with absoluteley no problems.Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0

This is interesting - so you're not even allowed a handbag as well as your 10kg luggage? It's been years since I flew with Ryan Air - they weren't quite the same budget charge for everything airline in those days
I remember blagging A LOT of excess suitcase weight and hand baggage once! 0 -

You are not even allowed a carry bag with goods purchased at the airport in addition to your one piece of hand luggage. With Ryanair One mean One. Play the game or suffer the pain - throw something away or pay the £40 (I think) fee top have it transferred to checked baggage.tarkytarks wrote: »This is interesting - so you're not even allowed a handbag as well as your 10kg luggage?
