Yesterday was a top-up shop & I got SO many bargains I couldn't believe my luck! Three tops for me & a new chain for me spex in a charity shop & two pots of nail varnish under a pound each [I don't do my nails very often so they're adequate for my needs]--I can't remember when I last spoiled MMEEEE
:j to spoiling yourself & sounds like you got some great bargains!! Isn't it great when that happens, all the pleasure of new stuff without the pain of spending a fortune!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
Spend day for me - though it was under £1.
Several packs of hot cross buns, a spiced bun loaf and 2 of my most favourite loaves (normally >£1 each) just had to come home with me at 9p eachCheryl0 -

Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
BDINI - yes...my new March target is to have you gloss me with your soggy brush (ooorrr err!)
Seriously, I have been really rubbish since Xmas and really must pull my socks up. The motivation of me joining this challenge was to stop the £1/£2 lunchtime spends...so whilst I think i've done well at that, I'm 'over compensating' in other areas
I'm off on the Glamour mag hunt tomorrow lunchtime, fancy some of the Clinique bits they have this month (my skin has gone to pot atm). I did fancy trying one of their starter kits from b**ts, and some cleansing lotion, but I will be 'good' and wait until they have bonus time. Reckon I can get a couple of NSD in Thurs/Fri this week (tank full of golden pounds), and I need to get organised for the weekend and work out what I need to buy for my trip to Asia next week (business again) so I can do it in one hit. Usual stuff, cleanser, toothpaste (can't take the one from home or OH won't have any), and tablets for all eventualities - which my boss and others USED to laugh at...until they have all on occasion need some of my medical supplies in one form or another (just call me Matron) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
...just re-read the Groupon details again too...and it's valid until 9th Dec...not Sept as I though...even better!Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Keiss - The teaching situ is pretty dire atm in most age groups including for those with QTS! Hope things pick up for you soonchris81418 wrote: »Congratulations Keiss! Every penny counts!tattooed_lady wrote: »Spendy again today, £59 on groceries, £30 on diesel and £8 in Ikea :eek:
Declaring today as NSD no 6, really chuffed.
Had to fork out for a sandwich at lunch time (thought I was finishing @ 1, but stayed until after 4 in the end. I found enough loose coins in my bag for it...had left my purse at home! I had put money aside last week to cover posting DH's niece's birthday pressie, but didn't use it in the end...so feel I can justify having this as an NSD (only spent £1.25...and it was necessary!). I would have taken my lunch if I had know I was staying most of the day. Will definitely take something next week!
