Hello! My name's Bex. I was just reading through this thread and I'm not really sure I get what the challenge is. Is it that you're just trying to not spend money for a certain amount of days in march?
An awful lot of folk think this is a doddle but when you're actually trying to DO it, you soon realise just how often you are handing over cash or plastic
I would think nothing of going for a few bits in the supermarket--bread, milk, eggs etc--as I thought I needed them, but those few bits inevitably crept up to a couple of bags worth of reduced-to-clear (or Whoopsies as we msers like to call them) & 'take it while I think of its'. OK it's a lack of willpower but even reformed smokers & drinkers have their support mechanisms
so, that is why I have been doing the Challenge for a fair few months now & will continue to do so.
Have a look at Tink's post below & please, do stop for a chat next time you call by. We' may be a touch unhinged but we don't bite :rotfl:
Hi this is my first month of joining the NSD challenge and ive had my first NSD!!!! im really happy now and it is much harder than i thought - found myself on 3 occasions thinking about buying something, just little bits but i suppose it makes you realise what your wasting!
So thats 1/8 NSD's for Tink
Yesterday was a top-up shop & I got SO many bargains I couldn't believe my luck! Three tops for me & a new chain for me spex in a charity shop & two pots of nail varnish under a pound each [I don't do my nails very often so they're adequate for my needs]--I can't remember when I last spoiled MMEEEE
I'm back over muvva's in a bit so today is looking good for No5.
Oh blow it! Today IS no 5 :rotfl:
