Hi,
I'm new to this thread. Can I be added on please?
My target NSDs for March are 16.Managed 4 so far.
Thank you!0 -
It would help if I add up my 2 NSDs for yesterday and today!
That means I'm up to 6 NSDs :T0 -
2 NSDs in the bag for Nargleblast!
(Put the paintbrush and the sledgehammer away, Bdini, you won't be needing them this month....)One life - your life - live it!0 -
And thanks to those who sent congrats on my passing my assignment - you have no idea how much blood, sweat, tears and trees went into producing those 4097 words....why do we do this to ourselves? Commiserations to those who are going through it at present.
And well done you clever beggars with a whole flock of NSDs, we must have a whole year's worth between us now.One life - your life - live it!0 -
Evening folks,

D3 - Sorry to hear about the car - not good, but at least you're all safe.
Little Miss - hope the furry one is back home with you x
Lauzellen - sorry to hear you've had a carp weekend
Beanie - big hug for you too
Well no NSD for me today, had a lovely deep tissue massage by a beautician who comes to our office for £20 - shoulders a bit tender now but feel tons better. While I was spending I also ordered part of my friends b'day present from the Body Shop site. It was some 1/2 price body butter (still £6 + £3.49 delivery) but I checked the shop and they didn't have the offer so it still works out cheaper than the full priced body butter overall.
Hope to bag a NSD tomorrow - they are proving somewhat elusive atm...where's that NSD net?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Oh dear to the car trouble folk are having...hope things can get sorted soon....without too much cost
beanielou - hope you are a bit steadier today....hope you sat in the sun and collected some rays!!
Had a spendy day today as well as a busy day work-wise. Turned up to invigilate this morning, but the students didn't, they were re-sits too! Then caught up with a colleague and discussed what I did on Saturday and whether I had made any major boo-boos (none thank goodness!).
Did an hour as a student, before heading off for a meeting about prospective work in the future...a good meeting, but not sure whether it will generate any work for me. It's all these government cuts in education...there just isn't the money to pay for new staff...so existing staff have to cover and spread themselve far too thinly. Not an ideal situation for anyone...and who knows what further changes are ahead!!!
I would like to get my full PGCE (or CertEd - teaching qualification), but in order to study for it, I need to be teaching...but there are no teaching jobs out there in FE for anyone without the PGCE...Catch 22 methinks :wall: I could do some volunteer work...no money, but at least I get some experience.
Hey ho...not sure what I should do now.
Got some good news today though...I could well get at least one regular day of work every week until the end of May....not much, but better than nothing! Then there will be holiday cover coming up soon as well...so the coffers could get a bit of topping up for a bit!
Right, off to get some ironing done...the pile is HUGE!!! Didn't do any for over a week with my sore shoulder...paying for it now.
Have a great evening all...hope to make the next few days NSD, fingers crossed and purses left behind!

Hello everyone, not been around for a few weeks .... not been very well
(but nearly better now!:)) and then ended up really, really behind with Uni work - didn't want to log onto the boards until I'd finished my assessments as I get really easily distracted and don't get any work done!
Anyway.... I've finally finished them!!! Yeha.:j:j:j
That's me completed this section of my degree and probably won't be starting the next part until September (fingers crossed, struggling to find somewhere near enough where I can go part-time) & also to find the money to do the next bit (approx £3.5k:eek:)
Have loads & loads of threads to catch up on so hope everyone's well, OK and happy.
