Spendy day for me. Needed to get some soured cream for a Nigella chocolate cake I'm making tomorrow (yummy) and the bus home. Not too bad but a spendy day still.

Well done to everyone who managed a NSD :T

Just NSD #1 for me so far this month. I had to buy petrol today and bought lunch at work yesterday and will be spending tomorrow as going out for the evening.

Maybe Sat and Sunday will be no spend days but supposed to meet a friend so might not be! Doh!

Call me crazy but it's quite therapeutic having to stop thinking about other things to concentrate on this, especially seeing as last months trouble at work has reared it's ugly head again (only this time with possible legal implications )

Oh no, I'm really sorry to hear that BDINI. Hopefully you're getting some good advice on how to handle the situation?

Any news yet on when you can get out?

    Take care

    Hello everyone :D

Thanks so much BDINI, Jinty, Spoon, Chris and if for the messages re my cat....I called the vet this morning and he is now awake and alert and trying to 'groom' his catheter out  so he has a lamp shade on his head (or as the vet said and elizabethan collar!) So, he will survive, but he still needs blood tests to see if there is any long term damage (which, of course, there won't be :D)

That's great news LittleMissHappy, really pleased to hear that. Cats are incredibly resilient but nothing looks quite as pathetic as a sick cat - just to worry us humans even more:(

Hope he continues to improve x

    Good morning everyone!

No NSD to report, but I had a great time yesterday at the Craft Show with my Mum. As well as lots of things on sale, there was lots of exhibits to see. The skill and creativity of folks is quite breathtaking! We met and chatted to lots of interesting, passionate people!
The most exciting thing was an exhibit called "Above and Below the Waves" which was a 3 dimensional undersea tunnel with waves, a beach, mermaids a fisherman - all knitted! It was done to raise money for RNLI.
Today is a busy day, but only small spends envisaged! Have a package to post and a prescription to pick up. Have done my weekly shop on line this week as I have to stay in this afternoon as were having a new stair carpet fitted.
Got Bertha back yesterday, so she's all MOT'd AND taxed for another year AND it was £100 UNDER budget - what's not to like?
