Marching on in March - The NSD Challenge

Bit of a spendy day for me today, but on the bright side I got the World's Fattest Squirrel to clear out his side of the wardrobe and his set of drawers. The result was four bin bags full of old stuff not worn for years or no longer fitting. And loads of lovely space in the wardrobe (for him to go out and buy yet more stuff, I suppose...:(). And the bonus is I called a clothing collection firm to pick it up and received a few quid from them in return. So that means, seeing as now I have bit of loose cash in my purse to pay for budgeted things, I could transfer the same amount from my current account into my savings account. If you get what I mean. because I will not be raiding the current account for those items of expenditure as I have the cash ready. Yes I know, very sad, very OCD of me but I have to get the books right.
And I will get a NSD very soon, just watch the Nargle go when it happens! One life - your life - live it!0 -
A NSD for me :j #2

NSD #2 for me today, not counting the money I spent on my first mystery shop as I will get most of that back (bar 29p, grrr!) Hoping to clock up another three over the next few days as have three night shifts. It's my Mum's 51st birthday on Sunday, already got the present (lightspeed points) and cards, going to use plain wrapping paper from x-mas (always buy plain colours, lasts through the year that way!) and Dad is paying for dinner for all of us, so that's a nice outing for no money
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -

I think it's been one NSD so far...I can't remember what I did yesterday! Today I done all the good practises of a NSD, but my phone only had 84p credit and sorely needed a top up! So I've missed out today but I'm still proud that I didn't cave in to other temptations once I figured out that it wouldn't be a NSD.
So to conclude that big paragraph, it's NSD #1 for me so far.Thank you competition posters!

Whooo!!!! I have netted NSD #1 - whew! It was a bit wobbly at lunchtime as I passed Mr C*d and chips would've been lovely but I did have some very nice Red Pepper and Wensleydale soup bought already from Mr A in the fridge at work so I resisted.
Picked up the new clock for the kitchen from MnS - it was only £6, with 20% off, already paid for at the weekend with gift card £ so doesn't count as a spend. At least its a step up from the current (now previous) one, which kept losing time even with a new battery.
Tomorrow should be a NSD, although I do need to pay for a 'vertical dance' workshop and don't want to miss out on a place - not sure whether I am going to count that if I spend nothing else as it would be a spend whenever I book it and I deff want to go :think:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Call me crazy but it's quite therapeutic having to stop thinking about other things to concentrate on this, especially seeing as last months trouble at work has reared it's ugly head again (only this time with possible legal implications )February NSD challenge 5/150 -

 to the price tag, but i have to agree that is simply the most stunning piece of jewellery i have seen in a long time!Tomorrow should be an NSD too, will have to see how I go on though as not in work. For some reason I find it easy not to spend on a working day, but weekends and leave are where I fall down.
Snap!! I agree weekends are so much harder, but i think i have finally learnt that shopping is not a hobby!!February NSD challenge 5/150
