    :hello:

    Hi all xxxx

Sorry not been in but spent most of my week off with no electric

Still all sorted now, only trouble was going back to work made me realise how much I hate it where I am now :( so have also been trawling around looking for another one, I know I am lucky to have one in the current climate and am greatful that I have but it doesn't stop me hating it!! tred for a 'quick fix' this week and went to register with an agency but a conviction from 1980 on my CRB would have made it very difficult for them to place me, mad really as I've been working with two employers in the same type of work since 2004 but as the lady said if she put two or three people forward for a job and the others were clear then they would be taken on first even though a place may disregard it if I went to them direct, so back to the drawing board............just wish I had their client list :rotfl:

On the bright side though having checked my notebook I made my total of 15 yesterday :j, good job really as I had a 'comfort chinese' tonight :eek:now I know this is not the way forward so must sign up for next month

Big hugs and lots of love to you all and many thanks BDINI for keeping us all going this month :kisses:

    See you all in April

DFD Need to August 2027 :(

    NSD March 15/20
    NSD April 17/15
    NSD May 13/15

  • I'm declaring at 14/15 for March, as I am meeting a friend for tea and cinema tomorrow (and she's one of those people who are more important than a NSD!).

But 15 was my second target, so I am still pretty pleased with myself ;) I'm also pretty pleased with myself not spending for almost half a month.

So I'm going to keep on the upwards, slow and steady trend and pledge for 12 NSD for April. Are you running the April thread too BDINI? You (and you're helpers!) have done a grand job this month and all you efforts have not gone unappreciated :A

  • Doh, not gonna squeeze in another one after all. Had great plans to get all of my spending out of the way today, but was thwarted at every turn. So will have to finish spending tomorrow. Still, am pleased with my total -this thread is amazing! :D

  • hi everyone I am amazed at the NSD's being done clearly I have a lot to learn.
this month I was stupid enough to repeat my Inaugural NSD Mistake of attempting to bunch them in at the end of the month rather than sensibly schedule them for between 1x and 3x week depending on how I am doing.
So as a result I only have 5 NSD's which at least is an improvement of 3 in February when I first started the Challenge.
For me NSD's are NO online shopping, no real shopping , debit payments normal as benefits come in biweekly which has made budgeting much more difficult, it also makes the government appears more generous than it actually is.
Online shopping is my vice as it is lovely to get parcels in the morning, but I am too often the victim of that Cathedral of Consumerism my local Tesco or preferably Waitrose.(except when I visit late at night to Tesco)..I have a lot to learn from everyone on the site. Anyways its a step forward.
My congrats to the all the NSD Champions who have done so well this month.

    Good morning everyone!

Checking in to report that I clocked up 1 more NSD yesterday, so I'm up to 25 NSDs! And I'll declare at that for the month, as I have a couple of planned spends lined up for today.

wouldbeqaulitymoneysaver - well done with the 5 you got this month, better than the 3 you got last month and better than none at all! :T

And well done everyone else! This month must be an all time record for the number of collective NSDs caught! :T  Wada ya fink BMF?

Spoon / BDINI I'd like to stick to my lucky NSD number and pledge my usual 19 NSDs for April please - thanks for keeping us all in check and for running the thread! :money:

Must dash, work is calling ... Have a good last day of the month everyone and see you all on the April thread! sunshine-012.gif

    Good morning chums!:hello:

Well I made it to #17 yesterday, so 2nd target met! I may get another today, we'll see! Big thanks to BDINI and SF and all the helpers for lookong after us this month - great works folks and much appreciated!:kisses:

Not sure what I'm up to yet, but I dont actually feel like spending today. It is really grotty weather here today, so I feel like a lazy, catchup-on- telly day! I might go to the library but that will be the extent of my travels. Had a busy week at work, so I'm a wee bit tired today!

    Whatever you're up to............

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

Hi everyone, just a quick update from my little bubble! :D As expected I haven't managed to clock any more NSD's yet..... however, I may yet snare a rare beast today :j:j

Monday started with a visit to the doctors for me for a mysterious rash (apparently a byproduct of a viral infection I never knew I had!) so had to get some antihistimines to stop me scratching it :o, this was then followed by a trip to the vets for one of my dogs (£60 for anti biotics and a biopsy on 2 lumps) :(

Tuesday... Even more expensive trip to the vets (£171) to get the offending bleeders removed as they were proved cancerous...  anyway he's feeling much better now and back to his normal clownlike self :D

Wednesday- went to the market and purchased my Mums Mothers Day present - 2 Indian Runner Ducks :T:T She has always wanted some, and I saw these yesterday and just had to get them for her :rotfl: (she lives on a farm by the way!) So took them round last night and she was so excited :j

SO today, I am going to work from home and keep myself out of trouble, away from the shops and not buy anything off ebay until tomorrow when Aprils quota kicks in :rotfl:

I have decided to drastically reduce my target for next month so I have a realistic chance of meeting it :o especially as its Easter Holidays as well....

    Roll on April! :T
