In a dispute over non receipt of goods.Contacted paypal went through all the proper channels etc.Received email from paypal saying seller had provided a tracking number.I phoned them and requested it to check it out for myself.Oh it exists alright except that according Royal Mail it was delivered from Bristol...(seller in Manchester) and confirm that this item was delivered before the guaranteed time.Delivered where? Not to notts and not to my addy.As far as paypal are concerned its been sent although they are still looking into it but no doubt seller will say i asked for it to be sent to different addy.Anyone out there can advise me as to what to do next if anything or do i just accept the fact ive been ripped off.

Phone them and explain this.
Paypal that is.My TV is broken!

On the Royal Mail site where it says it was delivered from is from the local area to the recipient not from where the sender is. So in this case it would appear that the item has been delivered somewhere in Bristol?
Dont give up on it! Have you contacted the seller at all to see what he says? Maybe he has provdied someone elses tracking number?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -

Have you contacted the seller though? Either through ebay and email or by pulling contact details from ebay? Whats his feedback like?Weight Loss - 102lb0

contact the post office if you have the tracking number, they will be able to tell you where it was delivered then make a clainm through rm.
how much were the goods you ordered and what shipping did they use.0 -
Seller not responding to emails, tried pulling his details got 2 phone numbers...home number there is no one of his name living there, mobile goes straight to answerphone.Opened a dispute because of this, tried RM but as of yet cant show electronic proof of delivery??Only that it was delivered, got to wait 72 hours. As i said i live in Notts not Bristol seller just pulling a fast one.Stupidly i look to lose nearly £200.0

Its no good the buyer making the claim with Royal Mail - its the seller that has to claim.
What needs to happen is to clarify with the seller that he sent it to the address on your paypal account and then go from there. He should refund you then claim from Royal Mail
You shouldnt lose that money- if you come to a dead end with paypal - is your paypal account backed up with a credit card? If so go to your credit card company and take it up with them explaining the situation. It doesnt sound like its over with paypal yet though.
When was the item alledgedly delivered? If you have filed a dispute then it myst be enought time for Royal Mail to say who signed for it?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
Also with regards his contact details - make sure you mention in paypal that there is incorrect contact details there!Weight Loss - 102lb0
