Hi Mr B, have you thought of using Noddle, its a free service that lets you see your credit file. It gets updated once a month and I have found all my predators are listed on it.

Anyway, here's the link for you to have a look and see what you think

    Hello Mr B,

Have been reading through your diary for a while and just wanted to say hello - I'm trying to get round to this posting not just lurking lark. I must say you're diary is pretty inspirational, I'm glad you're not in too much discomfort after your op and your posts seem fairly positive of late. Will carry on following with interest and may even post the odd reply.

    Take care, Tx

How are you feeling Mr B ? Its great that you are still managing to post even though you are poorly.

Great that you sold a couple of wedding dresses, what a shame they didnt go for more money though, but stick it in the coffers and anything is better than nothing I suppose isnt it ?

Glad you enjoyed the Formula One. I take it you have tried calling SKy to see what offers they could / would come up with for you if you told them you were leaving for good ?! Works everytime for us. We tell them what we watch the most of channel wise and they seem to reduce the amounts so as not to lose the business.

Noddle sounds interesting Granny, I have seen that being mentioned on here before(perhaps it was by you actually !) but I dont think I have actually looked into it. I have a notebook I keep by the computer and each time someone mentions something of interest I write it down to look at another time but never seem to get around to it ! Bad Mrs P , I really should make more time as I could save myself a few bob !

Well Im going now, wanted to say quick hello to your new lurker New Taub !!! Helllooo !! :D

Mr B - Have you looked at Wordpress for your websites?

Technology has moved on a pace and these days you don't need to be a techie to create bootiful sites.

If you need help or more info please PM me

    Best wishes for your recovery

My score too, although I'm sure it would be -1/5 if it could

    Hi DFW,

I'm a 2/5 on noddle although on credit expert the score is about 870.

Just about to update signature as I have received a £10 Amazon voucher today and needed to add the stamps I have received for surveys. :)

Oh to have a score that high, might get there in 6 years, once all these defaulted debts disappear off my file.

Liking the free smiley and glad to be able to save you some money.

So the credit score is useless if you can't get any deals.

I feel I'm stuck with the current cards and need to pay them off. I haven't bothered to try any more zero deals for fear of being turned down. :(

That was the point I reached and then I thought well if I can't get any better deals, why am I struggling so much to stop them defaulting. Decided to bite the bullet, admit the trouble I was in and stop trying to juggle them all. It's been a hard year, but I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere. Hard living without credit and still not managed to build up an emergency fund but it'll happen.
