Hi Bonnington, I just thought I would pop in and see how you are getting on with your CPAP machine. I was given an xPAP for a week to see how I got on. The mask keeps leaking and sounds like someone blowing very loud raspberries. Mr Pooh says not to worry but I noticed he has moved as far away as he can get from me without falling out of the bed. Like you I feel better despite waking up dozens of time a night so it must be doing something. We went to a cinema last night, the first time And I stayed awake :D

I hope things are improving for you :)

    Hi Bonnington

I haven't been around for a while and notice that neither have you.

Sorry to hear you are still having problems with HP. Glad to hear you have been using the cpap mask a little. As I said keep faith with it and you will start to see some results.

I seem to recall you have an appointment for CTS soon, hope it goes ok.

How are things on the debt front? Are you still doing the surveys etc? Have to admit I haven't had a chance to do many just recently but maybe I can catch up this weekend.

Look after yourself and take care :)

    Hi bonnington,

I have my CPAP machine now and I too have problems with leaks. I was averaging 4 hours use last week but last night and night before I slept for 8 hours with only one or two leaks!! :D:D
I put it on tighter, scrubbed my face clean with no moisturiser, scrubbed mask with w up liquid too, changed my pillow for a softer one and it seems to be working.

We tried our car with webuyanycar and found we could get more for ours as scrap!! Got £200 when webuy offered £100.

Just reading about your tests for carpal tunnel. I had the tests two months ago but they decided it wasn't causing my pain. I always wake up with pains in my hands and arms, since the CPAP machine I haven't woken once with hand or arm pain ???? No idea why?? I have appointment on 30th so will ask then.

I hope you find your cheque: if you can't can you get another issued?

I hope your appointment today goes well. I have been given a different type of mask to try but have gone back to the first one. I had lots of help on http://www.britishsnoring.co.uk/phpBB2/index.php You need to sign up and wait to have your first few posts moderated.

    Hi bonnington

What a pain. Miserable having no access to tinternet....it's an essential part of life now isn't it. Hope the hospital can help with the possible CTS and the machine too.

Maybe keep a notebook for the spends etc...at least it's a record that you can then translate into a spreadsheet later.
